CHARACTER BIO
Name :: Coquette
Age :: 9 years
Gender :: Female

APPEARANCE
Height :: 30 in
Weight :: 125 lbs
Build :: Smaller and far more lithe than most, must rely on speed and cunning over brawn.
Eye Color :: Cool silver
Coloration :: Her primary coat is a light ochre color giving way to a cream base on her muzzle, cheeks and trailing down her neck to her underside and the inside of her legs.[picture reference: [link]

ABOUT
Personality :: Coquette is cautious and resistant to change but eager to learn about others and shares about herself openly, even if unsolicited. Having never needed to exert her physical prowess much, she avoids physical conflict whenever possible and is not above desperate dirty tricks to make a quick escape. She has an obsession with dreams, the moon, and night in general and will often discuss or interpret dreams with a prophetic fascination.

History :: Coquette was born into a highly religious pack alongside her brother, Quixote. Her family worshipped the Moon who gifted prophetic dreams to those strongest in the Silver Blood. Born with eyes of moonlit silver, Coquette’s destiny was set from birth to take over the role of Dream Speaker; when she came of age she would interpret the will of their goddess through prophetic dreams as the head of the church. At the age of three, she spent most of her time with the Speaker, learning all she could of interpreting Dreams in preparation for the Enlightening where her brother would become pack leader and make her the Speaker. Truly it was a blessing to have siblings at the head of the pack and it would be a time of prosperity - had outside forces not interceded! Before the ceremony, a wildfire wiped out the pack save for Coquette and her brother who were spared. This tragedy broke her heart, but strengthened her resolve. Surely the two of them were saved for a reason, the two most powerful wolves in the pack. Quixote was disillusioned though and left their home behind for stranger shores. Determined to heal her brother and rebuild the pack, Coquette followed her brother to unknown lands on unforeseeable adventure. After a short, but meaningful, visit to Moladion the pair found themselves growing apart more than they liked and found themselves departing together just as quickly as they’d come. The years flew by, and Coquette finds herself returning to Moladion - just herself and her surviving son.

Imprintability :: yes

OOC :: Kirk

NEW PLAYER INFO

Sample :: Pain. My back ached and my neck was sore. My eyes creaked open to slowly reveal a bright blue sky, the early sun reflecting off dewy droplets in the grass - I was alive. I had no idea where I was or how long I had been out but I only cared about one thing: I wasn't home. A small twinge of happiness guiltily coursed through my body as I realized I would probably never see home again.

I stir finally, rolling from my side to a sitting position with a groan to better take in my surroundings. Plains stretched out before me, flat and... so very flat! I swear if it weren't for those trees I could see the end of the world, erm, the edge of the world. //That was strangely macabre...but no, can I stand up after last night?// I creakily stand much to my legs protest but I know the feeling will pass once I get moving again. There was this whole alien field to explore after all! Off I was to wander these new fields of lush, green grass so tall I almost couldn't see my own hooves and bask in the sun, alone. Back to being bummed out? I need to accept the fact I'm never going to see my fr-... hills again and I should start my life in this new land as best I can, assuming my reputation didn't precede me as was often the case.

The sun has yet to dry up the grass for the day as my walk takes me further into this pristine sanctuary and it makes my long trek rather pleasant as bits of dew spring up and cool my sore legs still protesting every gentle step I take toward my future. Is that a pond up ahead? It is, and only now do I realize just how drained I feel as the thought of water causes my mind to rush and my steps quicken automatically as I approach the glassy pool and catch the first glimpse of myself since taking my devastating tumble - what a mess. My face and mane were muddy and cuts from branches and who know what else were visible on my chest, I could only assume the rest of me looked just as appealing. I need a bath. I bow my head to fill my belly with the mirror beneath me and I begin to feel worlds better, at least inside. After drinking my fill I catch the sight of a rocky outcropping in the rippled water and my gaze tracks upwards to a faraway hill overlooking the sunny plains. Off I am once again on my quest to find my place.

Did I mention a hill? More like a miniature mountain! It wasn't too terribly high a climb, my exhaustion notwithstanding, but it was steep and rocky which adds up to a mountain in the eyes of this Haflinger. Brining my journey to a close for now, I settle down on the thankfully grassy hillock under a distinctive shade tree and rest.
