Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

Things were different when Eden was around, a strange and as yet unknown kind of feeling that he gave her. It was a calm and quiet thing and while it intrigued her she didn’t press or try and hold it too tightly for like the birds she so often dealt with the tighter you squeezed a think might just ruin it. Instead she simply accepted the way it was, not looking for more or asking why simply enjoying it when she could. Much like how she embraced Eden, loosely and calmly enjoying the moment but not fighting when it was time to let go, he would come back to her she somehow knew.

Pulling back she her bright eyes connected with his own as he asked if she had noticed the interloper from Asteraia. She nodded of course, as a blind deaf wolf would have noticed the brazen pup in her opinion who stomped in so unashamedly. Eden’s next words however piqued her curiosity, causing her eyes to narrow and her tail to wave slightly in interest as to what exactly he had up his paws. Anyone who was smart enough would know Eden was a shrewd and clever wolf, but few knew just how deep those waters ran and she finds the rhythm of her heart increasing as he grins toothily at her.

Thoroughly intrigued she follows him willingly down the path that led to her den, balking slightly when he suddenly stops and begins to tear about. Her head is high, knowing that every move he makes is always calculated and weight but this seems a different side of him she had not seen before. It is not until he turns to her with his plan, his roundabout words that a sly smile curves her dark lips and she bends playfully before leaping past him, her dark fur brushing his own as she digs at the edges of the sandy path creating short trails that branched off it leading nowhere. Her jaws clamp around the roots of the tall grasses, uprooting and moving them here and there to change the landscape. She pauses to look up at him, legs splayed wide, sides heaving slightly from the exertion but her eyes shining brighter than ever, this was a game she did not mind playing.
