Enocra Woodland

Pine, spruce and firs alike...
Dense coniferous forests cover the woodlands, with clearings, paths and the occasional wildberry shrub throughout. Pine, spruce and fir make up much of the forest in the east, with the forest becoming swampier in the west towards Mecor Valley. In the west, cypress trees dominate, with fallen trees creating bridges across and throughout the stillwaters.

EDEN x RENAI SIX

Walking without much of a purpose, other than avoiding seeing dad. I was a great child, wasn’t I? I don’t know why I don’t want to see him. I know I need to get over it eventually and see him, but I keep trying to figure out what good it will do me if I do go to him. Mom and I had never really felt at home there, Whereas Eloah did. So it was a harder situation than I wanted. Although that had been years ago, ever since then I just kept to myself in the freelands, wandering without a purpose, because what was life if you had to follow a strict path? No fun. That's what.

I moved easily, my cracked rib had healed long before, but you can bet your sweet ass that I hunted with more care now. No more leaping- can't afford to crack anymore ribs against anyone. But it was a weird situation thinking of the whole thing. I shook my head to rid myself of the crazy thoughts that began spinning around. I wondered what dad would have thought if I'd gone to him then, all broken and messed up, surely he'd have told me it was my own fault for being stupid. I never seemed to measure up to Eloah's standards, or whoever else he was holding as the standard.

The trees hugged my light colored frame, and I sighed, a simple sound as I leapt over the fallen logs, my legs too short to just simply step over them like the massive wolves I've seen that lived in these lands. It was crazy seeing some who were over a foot taller than myself, and at the same time it was kind of sad. I was so small that I got lost in the fray some times but that usually was at an advantage for me, because I could see anything I needed to before others, and my speed, eff being caught. Near impossible.

Wandering without a end result in sight, the bitter twang of copper filled the air. It wasn't usual blood though, it was strangely accompanied by a spicy twang that came with wolves. It made me fear someone injured, but I was not a healer, nor did I want to be one, but the strange sounds and smells made me want to investigate it more. And so I began creeping towards it.

The sight before me was more than disturbing. Cannibalism at its finest, I supposed. But it was wrong, on so many levels. I let a low growl rumble through my vocals as I moved closer, my nose picking up the scent of another, who smelled strongly of death, and my eyes flicked around briefly, thinking I saw him but the real goal was the femme who was eating a deceased wolf. “What in the world do you think you’re doing?! Are you that sick or starving that you’d resort to eating a member of your species?” I forced myself not to gag aloud as I watched, I finally let my gaze search out the source of the smell of death. “Were you going to just watch like a creep from the sidelines?!” I scoffed, my eyes rolling as I watched everything that would surely unravel before me. While I wasn’t against fighting and being a bitch, eating another wolf, that was just WRONG on so so many levels.
