TELL ME, WHY CAN'T THIS BE ENOUGH?

15.2HH PERLINO AKHAL-TEKE MARE
QUEEN OF PARADISE

Keyik stood beneath the shade of a towering palm, her back hoof cocked lazily while he mind raced a mile a minute. Now that she had obtained paradise, there was still much more to be done. She needed to being building a strong foundation for her empire – a network of able minded and bodied horse that she could rely on and trust. Wolpertinger, wherever she was a present, could only be trusted with so much. She did not agree with half of Keyik’s plans and therefore would be practically useless in their execution.

As the warm breeze ruffles her silken tresses, it brings with it a scent of someone unknown. Sharp, blue eyes snapped to attention, scouring the beach for the owner of the scent. She spotted him on the far shore, stumbling from the water and along the beach in her direction. This would not do, she thought to herself, glancing around for any sign of Wolpertinger. Seeing hide nor hair of her companion, with a crack of her tail and a nicker, she set off to intercept him.

As the pale mare drew closer, she could that he an older stallion, tall and clumsy looking in build. Whatever and whoever he was, he was no scout, yet the sheer size of him made her uneasy. A queen could not afford to be uneasy, however, so she pushed the nerves down and replaced them best confidence she could muster. ”Are you lost, yabancı?” she asked, halting in his path.
