Malignant Felicity is a paradisaical abode to the faithful remains of a mighty pack. Once ruled by the magnificent wolf Genocide, now the wolves of this pack follow the laws of the Alpha Lance, son of Sorna, Beta and Genocide's best friend...

The sounds of crashing water fill your auds as you enter this tropical paradise. The tall trunks tower above you. The treetop canopy's seem to shade the beautiful land from the sun's rays. What a paradise this place seems. This place dubbed Malignant Felicity. As you draw closer to the boarders a stench slowly devours the air around you. The stench of death.

"Beware..." scream the birds from above you. "She kills for games. She kills for fun." Something deep inside tells you to listen. Your body tells you not to go no further. Do you listen or do you dare move into the pack borders. This could be a life or death decision...

Follow the Queen, or become a corpse that lines her border. The choice lies with you.

She turned her attentions away from him when he fell silent and a deep breath fell from her lips. Akuji could feel his heart leap into his throat, choking him, and he screamed for air but he did not inhale. No matter what he did next, he did not want to mar or disrupt the next few moments. He would forever remember this next scene, whether she ran screaming from him and Perdere, or whether she accepted his broken body and mind and Demon. And so Akuji waited on baited breath, and in the absolute silence found it odd and terrifying that Perdere did not make any quick jabs in Akuji's weakness. At least for now, it seemed that Perdere would hold up his side of the bargain, that the contract would stand strong and firm. But whether it mattered remained to be seen, for still Katia was away from him... but then Akuji's audettes flickered forward and erected, focused upon her sudden movement as her pools swept upward, mismatched gaze catching his muds.

'Of course. Akuji, of course. You’re my beast. Both of you are mine.'

And with that, the distance between them was closed, Katia just out of his reach. A soft whine pulled away from his kissers as she stared at him, for in her facade he could read her hesitation, her fear. He did not know what caused it, and felt his own fear grow in his heart. What if he was not enough for her? Always had he had Perdere just below the surface, and so many of his decisions had been altered by Perdere's presence or actions. But on the days where Perdere pulled back, allowing Akuji to be vulnerable, what if Katia did not like him any more? What if it was Perdere who she actually loved and wanted? She did seem to have a tendency to run toward danger, so it was not entirely out of the realm of possibilities, and Akuji's heart nearly broke at the thought that she could still walk away from him. Where had these insecurities come from? Where had these fears originated? When had he become so weak?

But once more motion caught his eye and before he could react he felt pressure against his nape. Akuji froze, unsure of how to react. He could feel the gentle pull of his hairs as she inhaled while her facade was hidden deep in his mane, and the heat that followed suit during her exhale. Her breath warmed his flesh, and it almost felt as if it was a flame, melding them together into one. Akuji shifted himself slightly so that her cranium would fall into the dip between his nape and his shoulder, which allowed him more freedom in his own motion. Slowly, hesitantly, he looped his neck over her own, pulling her toward him protectively and into an embrace. She felt so delicate and dainty beneath him, and flashes of the past crossed his visage. Seeing himself standing over her, attacking her. Seeing her blood upon him. Seeing the wounds that he caused turn to scab to scar. Akuji knew those scars would never fade, and even though it had been Perdere's will that it had happened and not his own, he still blamed himself and would carry the guilt of it likely forever. But Katia had forgiven and forgotten and had chosen to still love him and choose him. That had to count for something didn't it?

For a brief moment, he released her and moved his maw to her audette. "I have waited for you for so long and never thought I could have you. But you must know, surely you must know that I will do everything to keep you safe and keep you with me. And you should know that I am your beast. My heart is no longer mine by yours, and you have the power to raise it up or crush. It flutters even now faster than the wings of a bird and it terrifies me and I... I don't know who I am right now. I don't know who I am... without him. And it scares me that you will not like who I am without him." He moved his nape over top of her again and pulled her close, disgusted with his own weakness and vulnerability. He was meant to be her protector, and yet it seemed that it was now she who was responsible for his safety.

For how long they remained like that, Akuji did not know, but it was long enough that Akuji's mind - not Perdere's but his own - fell silent long enough for him to be able to enjoy their embrace, enjoy the moment, and feel comfortable in the space that they now shared. He would not pull away from her, so whenever she did, he would gently dip his nares beneath her chin to lift her muzzle. "Are you still happy here, Katia? We came here to protect you from Farant, but he is gone. The Council has not sent any of their lackeys after us... we can go at this point wherever you want. Is this where you want to call home? Or do you wish to leave. You know how I feel about these breeds, but I care not where we are as long as I never have to leave your side again."
