Pale, duo eyes shot wide with shock. "Oh!" the sugar coated exclamation fell from my lips effortlessly. The voice that drifted out was gruff, a low timber that sent chills down my spine. Oh, lawd have mercy. I let my ears twist backwards, wide eyes looking around in a mock-fear. While deep down I felt the icy grasp of fear begin to worm its way up my spine, the thrill of it all was so much more, alive. My heart was racing within my chest, a thrum that was no doubt thank to the excitement bubbling just under the surface of my skin. I tweaked my body language, letting the fear overtake my nerves. To anyone who didn't know me, they'd think the fear was real.

When I finally let my eyes focus on his dark form, I added a slight tremble to my legs, though they still shifted back and forth restlessly still. I stared wide-eyed at the stallion who came closer. His voice came again, that lovely timber that gave me chills. "I--I---, I guess..." ever so slightly, I let the fear tremble my voice, a slight shake of my sugar-coated words, giving him a baleful look.

He moved closer again, and I found myself eager to step even closer, to see if his words would be true if I pressed against him. He asked if I was afraid. And I knew then that playing this game would give me more fun than I had hoped to achieve tonight. I shifted my eyes away from his face, looking down to where my feet were moving without my knowledge. I barely raised my eyes to his when he spoke again, jerking in shock when he got impatient with me hesitating. "I....I don't know. I-- I think so....Should I be?" I barely projected my voice, letting the shy words tumble from my lips with a soft lilt to my voice. I looked out under my lashes, my tawny and white coat shaking slightly. Oh, I couldn't wait to see where this ended. Either way, this was the most fun I'd had since I had made my entrance here in the islands.
