The Weaver’s light faded from her face, concern growing in her bright eyes. She cared deeply for Halcyon and yearned to help in anyway she could. Give him the strength he needed. Her face fell further. She wanted to save him from the possible darkness, just as she had saved her brother, only differently. Ever since she had ended the life of Thoth she had devoted even more to bringing light and life to those around her. In times of sickness, such as now, she was still reminded the darkness existed and demanded its dues. Solstice would not let her Imprint, and her Empress’ mate fall into the dark river of death. Her skills were not in healing, but she knew enough not to hurt.
For a moment her eyes flicked in the direction of Halcyon and Aster’s den, brows furring in concern. Together we could bring him to the front of your den. She suggested, returning her creamy face to Aster. He could rest in its safety, while still looking out at his home. Fluffy tail waved hopefully as she continued on the trail of this idea. You could watch over him and I could bring him… field mice, or voles while you two enjoyed the sights of your pack! Solstice seemed excited by this idea. It could be the best of everything suggested. She stepped to the side, her tail still wagging, as if she were awaiting her empress’s command to follow through with this. The skills she had to really contribute to the pack were limited, but she could bring the easy to eat small rodents to help keep her Alpha and friend’s strength if it would help him in the long run.
