Nothing but good nature and laughter could fill the young woman, even if the face of a puffed up protector of property such as her father. Lilac eyes glittered dancingly as her paws followed suit, keeping herself out of any sort of accidental retaliation Eldritch might have slipped into. It was not that she enjoyed scaring him, or pushing the grump’s buttons, it was simply that this was who and what she was, and she could not control herself any better or different. Still thrilled with life, she dashed around Eldritch as he plopped to the ground and scolded her, reminding her yet again he might have harmed her. She grinned ear to ear at him, rolling on the ground and staring up at him upside down. I don’t think you would have hurt me, father! You would have stopped when you realized it was me! She rolled back onto her feet and wiggled in place, tongue rolling from her lips. This was absolutely her life, and the best parts of it! Snapping her attention back to him, she grinned wickedly, her bum rising again into the air with the madness of her tail. It was a gift! From the fairies you and mom stole me from! She barked, accenting herself with a shake of her head. Her eyes flicked over Eldritch’s shoulder, and she pounded the ground with her paws, enticing him to come play with her, begging him to try to tackle her into the dusty ground.

Taika had been half-heartedly searching for her wayward daughter in the freelands, but mostly enjoying being able to walk freely again. Fear had kept her within the shelter of Taviora, keeping her from searching endlessly for Soma. When at last she broke through herself, she found her child and returned her to safety. Now, she walked through the world with almost as much confidence as she had before. Chocolate and rust body padded through the lands, fur ruffling in the breeze when she stumbled on Masque’s scent. Her own playful smile spread on her features and she silently picked up the pace, light on her feet as always. She came across her mate and her daughter’s usual haunt and slowed to a stop, lowering herself to the ground. From behind Eldritch, she noticed Masque’s eyes flick to her and immedietly the girl started to make more of a show of herself; which was natural considering the nature of Masque. Just at the opportune moment, Taika jumped forward, brushing past Eldritch and rolling around along with Masque, making more of a target for her mate to tackle, or pile on all of them.
