While I'm setting here going thru my E-mail, I'm also watching a young buck chewing cracked corn at the feeder.. His horns are only about two inches long, but he has bright eyes and is alert to strange noises.. Now, after scratching behind his ear with his hind hoof,(I wish I could do that) he has ambled into the brush and disappeared.. I see they have licked a hole in the apple flavored salt brick I gave them...
I'm still working on my building, enclosing it in.. Stopped by Habit for Humanity and bought a used door that will work just fine..
There seem to be different birds at the feeder, I just saw an all yellow one (looked kind of like a canary) But they all seem to like the seeds...
