The change that the female had undergone had been sudden and unexpected. She had heard rumors of the magic that used to occur with some, but it had been so long since she had heard of it happening that she thought it was all stories. She never imagined that it would happen to her. But when Adara felt her whole body change, as if her form was being torn apart and put back together, she knew it was real. Tempests always had blue eyes, but Adara had naturally been born with icy blue eyes like her fathers’. She didn’t realize then that was the dormant blood of the tempests within her waiting to come forward. Some of her family did not have the same coloring as her, and she was sure if they changed then she would see the change within their eyes. But even though the color may have already been on her, her vision did change. Adara saw the world differently now, would see it differently for as long as she lived now.
When she had recovered from the change, she knew she needed to touch base with her family. Aindreas, Drizzt, Vladimir. They all still resided within Blossom, so they would be easy enough to find. At last Aindreas and Vladimir were within the same pack. So she decided to look for Drizzt first. It had been a long time since she saw her nephew, and she hoped that he was not unhappy with her for not visiting more often. The silvery grey wolf found Malignant Felicity easily, and called for the younger brute. When she saw his white form approach, a smile appeared on her kissers. Adara was glad that he seemed happy as well, his own plume wagging in greeting. As he approached, the femme stepped forward in greeting, rubbing her pelt along his own. "Hi Auntie, what are you doing here?" He looked at her as if she was different, and she smiled at him. She wasn’t sure what he knew about the old magic that used to live here, and she didn’t want to scare him by rushing into what had happened to her.
”I just came to say hi and see how you were doing.” She barely had the words out when she saw him react to pain coursing through his body. Either there was something wrong with him and he was sick, or he was undergoing his own transformation. Whatever was going on, Adara needed to help ease him through it. She knew how painful it had been on her own, and she hoped having someone else there would make it easier. The femme stayed by his side, trying to ease him to the ground and wrapping her form around his smaller own. She spoke gently to him, telling him it would be okay and it would pass, that she was there and would not leave him. She could only hope that his pain would pass quickly and not linger.
