Where once the southern border of Blossom Forest was made by Leisure Lake, the magical rearrangement of the lands has laid there instead a vast, uncrossable ocean. The shore differs as you travel along it. Tall mountainous cliffs arise on the western part and at one point, the large river that runs through Blossom Forest opens up at its tributary into a well sheltered cove. As you come more eastward, the towering peaks shorten into rocky foothills. A large section of the shore is inaccessible to most, as Uyaraut has claimed it as their own. But if you skirt around their territory, the hills disappear, swallowed up into the land until it is as flat as the eye can see. The vibrant greens dull into short and dry browns and tans, and the land dries and cracks apart until it melds into The Waste - the desert that forms Blossom Forestís easternmost border.

For those looking to hunt here, there are of course the fish within the ocean, along with crabs, seals and urchins. For on the shore, there are seagulls, herons, and ospreys.

we've been through it all

" no happy endings "

{ cynbel } - { brute } - { old alpha of a land far away } - { loveless } - { child of delaria }

"You have no right to say my name. You have no need to utter it, and there is nothing within me that wants to here you taint it with your forked tongue, you vile serpent. I have no desire to hear what it is you have come here to say but how could I ever forget your stubbornness? You will not take into account whether or not I actually want to hear what you have to say, since you obviously did not think or care about the fact that you are the last wolf in all of remaining existence that I could ever be prevailed upon to see again and yet you still came. I did what you wanted - what you demanded of me when you thrust the ultimatum upon me. But please. Do get on with it. The sooner you say it, the sooner you will leave."

Those words stung. The brutish male could feel what feelings he had for his pack, for Ygraine, all of it coming back. His mind spun, his head hurt.

"I am glad that stupidity has finally left your mind, but whether or not you are still leading the pack that you EXILED me from does not change the fact that you did indeed exile me. And threatened to have me killed. Those were my choices - death, or leave everything and everyone I ever cared for. You are an ass, aren't you? Now you are forgetting the love you had for your mate? You really are unbelievable. Now the only real thing? This is me... not believing you."

The girl turned, she ran. Cynbel couldn't call for this, nor would he stand for it. Nimueh, whether she liked it or not, was a part of his past. Some things he could let go. He could let go of his home, but his first.. love? Some things he'd even kept from his best friend. Adrenaline courses through his veins, quick starting his heart and limbs. He chased after her, skirting around the lake. Pebbles and gravel flew behind him as he ran, finally cutting her off. He stopped suddenly, in front of her. His chest heaved as he tried for a breath. Nimueh! Wait. A low growl emitted from his throat, glaring at her. His alpha side seemed to have returned. The king stood his ground, his tail high and his eyes locked on hers. First of all, you've no right to tel me to leave. This place, this is not your land. This is free for all wolves, as I can scent many who've wandered about here. He let his tail relax, his fur still raised on his shoulders.

I may be an ass. That may be what you think of me. I was once your king. That is no longer, but that night was out of rags. Mourning. I sound like a broken record, but I've not a care in the world for that. You're words, they sting. But they do not kill me. Cynbel rumbled, his optics scanning over her. What are you doing now? Traveling? Or maybe you're flirting? You always had the tendency. He shrugged, looking away. Another chuckle ripped from his vocals.

There are things back then of what I didn't tell you. What I didn't trust with anyone but myself. Ygraine didn't even know half of me. I haven't forgotten the love that was torn away from me. The love I had for her. But it is gone now, as she is gone too. He took a step forward, standing tall. Before him stood his oldest friend, one he wished to rekindle that with. Tell me one thing, dear. Why keep running? You just ran from me. I don't want distance between us. You, obviously, do. Thinking back, he did realize that it was his fault that she'd run from the pack. He'd given her the option to be killed or to leave: his subjects always thought of her as.. different. Maybe he should have listened. He wasn't sure anymore. All he knew, he had found her.

im on my way
