Susil Crags

Disaster has struck!
The Crags are a series of rocky formations with small caves and crevices throughout. Many of the lower-lying areas of the Crags have been flooded, however, with water pouring in from the Northern stretches of Moladion. Some paths have been completely submerged, and some are nothing more than a few rocky peaks sticking out of the water. The water is fairly slow moving but begins to pick speed up towards the Grotto, becoming a series of intense rapids and waterfalls as it nears the Grotto's entrance.

The area itself is still traversible. However, it can be risky. Large amounts of debris can enter the waterway, creating bridges at times but also creating dams that break and cause ocassional flash-flooding. Be careful, travelers! One wrong step and you could end up finding out where the water goes.

Note: Susil Crags will return to normal once 25 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes.

I almost feel as if he is displeased with the fact that I want him at a wolf’s length from me...like it is some strange concept. I want to meet these parents of his at some point, as they must have been really...interesting. Yet he seems to respect my wish for the distance between us, and even says he will listen. Oh? He will listen? Well, I tend to have a lot to say. I don’t mean to, but it just happens. Good thing he said he would listen, because I then explained so much to him.

When I do look to him after I speak I get that feeling he is listening but not...LISTENING. There is a difference. He is hearing my words but I contemplate if they mean anything to him at all. Why am I even getting a sense of this with him? Is it that face he is making? I blink my green and blue eyes, and I wiggle my nose as I sigh slightly. I then notice that he was scooting closer to me as I turned from him to the storm and then back at him. My ears flickered as I barked at him.

”Hey! A wolf away, mister!” I scold, attempting to establish the range at which I may be somewhat comfortable around him. Something about him seemed odd and off, and I didn’t exactly want him closer to me. He was like a creepy shadow who wanted to attach himself to me.

”I already got my own shadow, ya hear?” I say, as I certainly see no need for another. He doesn’t seem interested in the storms at all, but instead more interested in me. Now normally I wouldn’t mind some interest in me, but this was something different. I felt something different but it was faint, and it was...uncomfortable. I shifted my weight slightly away from him since he moved closer. I remind myself to try and stay somewhat friendly and maybe everything will end up okay. I let my cool go a little before, and honestly I can’t say I can control it easily right now. I will keep reminding myself and stay calm.

He seems to get closer and closer, and seems to get excited as I mention that of fire. He mentions that he has seen it and I am honestly a bit creeped out as he goes on...about his fire and my fire and warmth or something. Yeah he is closer. As he speak I slowly begin to roll on my side away from him- very slowly, and perhaps very awkward as I lay completely on my side facing him, and then pushing on the ground very, very slowly so I push myself away from him.

”Okkkayyyyyy,” I say as I do my awkward maneuver that felt quite necessary. I wondered if a sudden movement would have caused him to immediately pounce, and that is why I chose the very slow side push away. My eyes are wide as I continue to look out at the storm. How do I get out of this? This is much too weird for me, and much too...serious. I turn to look on the other side of him, my eyes growing wide with my muzzle opening in awe.

”OH look over there, there is some fire now!” I say excitedly, hoping he will look over. If he does look over, I will immediately jump up and start running the other way from him. Even if he doesn’t look, I will still do the same, and head back to that of Iromar. I am older and hopefully faster than him...I know it won’t trick him completely and he will likely follow.

”GOTTA GO,” I yell out as I dash. I do not particularly fear him, but I don’t want to get caught either. It is like a game of tag almost in terms of how I feel about it. No fear for my life, but I still gotta get away.

”DON’T FOLLOW ME, I’m uh...BUSY,” I yell out as I continue to run, dashing around rocks with a surprising amount of grace as she ends up heading right into the storm...seeing as the storm is in Iromar and all. Thunder billows and lightning lights up the rocks as rain begins to fall upon her. She did not turn back to look at him, to confirm if he was following or not. To turn back and look would hinder her movements. She simply focused on heading home despite the rain starting to pound upon her flesh and fur.
