Re(3): Step into 2017 / faster shows / one and done

The only one throwing a "temper tantrum like a little kid" is the fan who started this thread who wanted a pulloff.

Pulloffs are a waste of time. I loved the light super pulloff in New Hampton by the way. One super broke. One super bumps the sled. The third goes 20 feet. Great way to waste 20 minutes of everyone's time.

With that said, pulloffs do have a place in pulling. (1) If you have a shorter track and cannot run a floating finish, or (2) Your show lacks vehicles. You can pull the old region 3 tactic of resetting the sled since the first two pullers only went 280' in order to "let them put on more of a show" and then run the inevitable pulloff. That really adds time on to a very short show and gives fans a chance to see more hooks.

Other than that, pulloffs have no place in modern pulling.
