Boss's Decree

"For every brother you bring to our
midst, you may keep a trinket all to
yourself. She will not be sullied or traded, unless you deem otherwise. But should you bring a mare here without a new brother first, then I will consider her property of the Lagoon as a whole
and do with her as I see fit." - Garmr

Rules

• The Lagoon is where homeless stallions come to live as a brotherhood. Mares may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Soldiers keep mainly to fighting, Thieves keep mainly to raiding, and Associates may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Marauder or Boss for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Boss maintains order within the Lagoon and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Lagoon works on the Rules page.

• Upon election, the Boss can issue a rule for members to follow during their tenure. It is up to leadership to enforce.

The nip on my hide before he took off towards the lagoon was unexpected and to be honest, it stung slightly. I wasn't used to being bitten by another, not in any way shape or form. I wrinkled my nose, eyes narrowing on the beast as I followed him to the lagoon.

The trip went easily enough, not that the Lagoon was far away from where we had been, at least. I huffed, eyes narrowing as I followed the brute. I wished I could run off, find Berwyn and let him know what was going on, But I knew I didn't have the option, not now at least. I needed to find him eventually, and let him know that while yes, I was property of a lagoon boy, I was okay. I loved my brother, whether full-blooded or not. He was the only family I had left. I found myself dragging as we walked to the lagoon, my pace slower than his on purpose, not really looking forward to being doomed to live in a place dubbed the lagoon.

But when we got there, it wasn't as bad as I had imagined it would be. It reeked of men and their testosterone levels, yes, but it wasn't a disgustingly looking place. It was swampy, that was sure, but it was not in a bad way. So, all in all, it could be a lot worse, so I guess there was that.

Once we had made it there, I stopped once we passed the border. I was here, that was enough right? "Okay. I'm here. Now what?!" My tone turned a little snippy, a sharp sound slicing across the words. I wrinkled my nose as I stared at the hide of the brute that had claimed me. I considered asking for his name, but I was not about to come right out and ask his name.

I let my eyes drag around the land around us. Taking in the sights, wondering just how many stallions lived within these lands.
