Date: fall | FOR EVERLAST | Mood: Lonely. |
Worry creased his features as he stood silently watching the dame, his large framed lowered. He wanted to make sure she'd be alright. For whatever reason, he hoped that maybe this would be a way to get a friend. Though, that was unlikely. Robichaux was not one to let a dame go without checking to make sure he hadn't caused her any harm. Whether she wanted his care or not. He kept himself lower to the ground as he let his eyes roam over her small frame. Concern laced his features as he paid close attention to her movements. Should she wince or pull in a wrong way, He'd notice. He let his strange blue-green eyes focus on her as he kept himself held low towards the ground, making himself appear smaller, for her benefit. He knew some were put off by his scars, but for whatever reason lately, he blocked it out of his mind. Not wanting his scars to seem as if they caused him and undue feelings.
She speaks then, a soft single word falling from her lips. It should have satisfied him, assured him that she was no harmed. But the next words left him unsure of that. He let the rest of his body slink to the ground, laying fully on the ground, belly pressed into the soft grasses. He tilted his head as she covered her head with her paws. "Now, chère, I'm afraid I cannot do that. Ma raised me to make sure I didn't hurt anyone's feelings, and If I did, I'm to make it right." God, if only Ma could see him now. "You say the collision did not injure you, but I cannot leave you like this. I'm all ears, should you wish to lay your burdens on my shoulders, instead of your own, even briefly." The offer hangs in the air between them. He was not too close to invade her personal space, but he did not want to leave too much leeway between them, didn't want her to run off on him. For some reason, she drew him in, and he wanted to figure this out.
Little did his mind know it was the upcoming season that was surely messing with his noggin, but let him think what he will. "Name's Robichaux, Ma'am."
