She knew her family wanted her to succeed in her life. But there were times when Dyami wasn't too sure where she wanted her life to end up. She wasn't set on a big family like her parents, she didn't want to be the center of attention anymore. She just wanted a quiet, subtle life where she wouldn't have to deal with everyone coming to her with problems. Her parents had wanted all their children when growing up to be raised with a sense of pride. She had that, she just was not interested in being the center of everyone's attention. She wanted nothing more than to blend into the background most days, and back home, that had been nearly impossible. Now, in a new home, she just wanted to be normal, was that too much to ask?

She found herself already starting a conversation, which she had not planned, by the way. She hadn't expected to make any acquaintances this soon on her new journey in life, but none the less, here she was. She felt flattered, and a bit embarrassed when he complimented her so easily. She'd been used to it back home, merely because she was the chief's daughter, but from him it seemed genuine. And it was more than appreciated.

Her smile is shy, soft, and a bit unsure. Not in him, well, mainly because she didn't rightly know him just yet. But that was because she had never been on her own. So, all in all, a new land, a new acquaintance, and a new life. She felt a little overwhelmed, almost, but not entirely sure what she was supposed to do just yet. He spoke, pulling her from her thoughts easily.

Giving him a shy smile she looked around when he asked her about liking it here. "I'm not too sure yet... You see, it's my first day here." She admitted with a soft smile. She had no idea what she was supposed to do here yet, so she had to figure that out still.
