He could tell Inanna was getting overwhelmed with all the attention and when he looked at her, he almost wanted to take her away from here and find someplace for them to be alone so she could have her own space. He knew she was used to being alone a lot but that was part of being mates, right? Now she would never have to be alone. But he didn't want to smother her either. It seemed that Samia was starting to rub off on her though. Over time, he could see her muscles starting to relax a little and a sort of calm moving its way across her face. She finally smirked at him and he felt his own face lighten just in knowing she was getting more comfortable with the situation. He chuckled when she said that he had to work for it and he snorted when she teased him about the crabs. "Psh, I'll have you know I only got pinched four or five times while I was hunting that pile you were feasting on earlier." He laughed as she tackled him, bracing himself for impact instead of trying to dodge. He couldn't get enough of touching her anyway so he welcomed it. Then Inanna looked up, asking about Samia and he smirked at his sister, knowing they would bond in no time. Samia moved back toward him, telling him she would never call him shy and he grinned. "I an definitely cunning. You know me so well, Samia." He gave her a playful wink. She seemed to want to tease him more, questioning him casting a spell and when she looked at him, he saw a certain change in her eyes, almost a yearning that left him with questions. He lifted a brow but brushed it off for now. He would ask her about it later when they were alone. He needed to catch up with Samia anyway. Then she teased him about all his toes being intact and he wiggled them as if for emphasis. When Inanna asked about her, Samia almost looked shy for a moment before she told her that she was a healer, then she mentioned him talking about their parents and he looked away for a minute. He felt almost ashamed because he couldn't remember that ever really coming up between him and Inanna. He had spent most of his life on his own, after all, but he remembered his parents fondly. He smiled at Samia. "I'm sure you have way more stories to tell." He said softly. She had been here with them after all. Then Samia jumped subjects, asking if Inanna would join the den and he smirked but his eyes were almost sad for a minute before he looked away to compose himself. He wondered if Samia was lonely. She didn't have a mate yet and he was her only sibling in the pack. The others had scattered. He knew that in a way, she needed him. He wouldn't abandon her but he knew how Inanna was about having her own space. It was a big enough thing for her to allow him to stay with her when he returned.
