Re(2): Coker and others that do big weight cuts?

People make it way, way harder than they have too, especially for big cuts. Some of the stuff on the internet is a recipe to put a person in the hospital. Its out there, people do it. I personally think they could do much better.

Some notes:
-7-10 days may not be long enough to trigger ADH suppression for a huge (>7%) cut.

-Lasix is almost never needed for up to 9-10% cuts (ie a 237 lb person cutting to 220's doesn't need lasix and it may screw them up)

-Low residue carbs NOT no carbs makes for a much better cut and reload.

-supplement your key electrolytes (K and Mg) when you water load and keep supplementing through the day of the meet.
