It was so different, but also so welcome to the wolfess. Her tail waved lightly, enjoying the feeling of having a soul that was so innocent and pure. She didn’t know what he had been through, but she knew that he was a kind and gentle soul, just from meeting with him. It was so different from Balor’s and whatever she could do to preserve the feeling that she gave him she would. It wasn’t love she felt, but there was no doubt some attachment to him, something she knew only they could share. What would become of those feelings she didn’t know, but she knew the flowers he gifted her would be something she would keep forever. She would dry them and keep them in her den for as long as they could last.
She could tell that her words excited him too, he peaked over his sister after having run away, looking at her with his tail waving. It brought a smile to once again touch her features before her attention once again turned to Aster. It seemed Halcyon had spoken of Zelda before, she nodded as she stated she was Halcyon’s niece, what was more she was invited in to rest. She needed it and she wouldn’t say no to a meal provided by the current Queen of Asteraia either if she was offering. ”Thank you that would be very welcome. I have been running all day.” she says before gathering up the flowers into her own maw before following the pair. She wouldn't’ ever forget the young male’s name, her brother. Prince Lazarus.
She knew Aster formerly had been the princess of Iromar. It dawned on Zelda that Lazarus had lived through all that, watched his whole world fall down and it was no wonder then that he was so shy. Zelda felt badly for him, Aranck had ruined so many lives in such a short time. A testament to how one’s dark actions could really upset the balance and quickly at that. However her pondering on such things were short lived. She watched as every now and then her imprint would peak around looking at her sheepishly before tucking himself away all over again. It was cute, she couldn’t help but think it, every time his eyes met hers she let a little smile come onto her maw from behind her flowers he had gifted to her. Though such innocent interactions were quickly snuffed out by the reason she was here.
Her ears twitched back her face quickly grew solemn, teal gaze casting to the ground as she continued to follow the sibling pair. ”Well.. Yes and no.” She answers at first giving a sign, ”I came to rest before going to Diveen tomorrow.” She says careful not to drop her precious gift. ”There has been some trouble, dealing with them and my land, that I am not entirely sure is their leader’s fault. So I am going to see for myself what is going on rather than rely on the words of others.” She wasn’t sure how much she wanted to drag Aster into it. Diveen and Asteraia were neighbors after all, she had a right to know, especially after Zelda had dumped all the information onto Kalseru before coming here. She would see if the black wolfess would be curious though before going on. Perhaps she too had information to offer.
