Think about how much more it would cost to rebuild our infrastructure if oil was selling for 100 a barrel. Do you know how much asphalt we use a year in the USA? Guess if you are so well read. And how much of a barrel of oil goes towards asphalt? And the leader of consensus, Mr MURRY, ESF mastermine, supports divesting in fossil fuels.
Wow. So all the $ he wants to save us will be lost to 100 a barrel oil. Smart.
So I hope that one council person will be designated to report consensus activities and objectives to us local people. We deserve to know how this will work in our town. Read the material. Fire dept will not be touched. Schools likewise. So what is left? Governence, infrastructure, justice, etc. do you want to know more. Keep tuned....
PS we use 450 million tons and 4 % of every barrel is asphalt.
