Misty Mountain is opposite of Rainbow Cliff. Mists hover year-round at this high altitude, mistaken by some to be thin clouds. Thin layers of snow cover the mountain, making some areas slippery and hazardous.

Some think it romantic, a place to bring their mates, while others come to play and romp. However, all must agree that there is some level of mystery and spookiness hovering about with the mists...

It was hot! Cami had been exploring this new place called Blossom Forest for a couple of days now. She found this place mesmerizing with all the diverse types of lands, scenery, and wolves. There was a good chance that the lass was going to stick around. At least that was what she was figuring. After all, there are worse places that she could be right now. In fact, she had been through some of them and hadn’t dwindled in any of them.

A mountain loomed ahead of her now, one that was surrounded by a thick mist. It looked like clouds, with the way the mist grew the further up you went. Surely, she could cool off up there? Camille remembered the higher up you went, the cooler the air around you got. Excitement lit up on her mask, along with relief. Walking across the rough stones had made her paws feel like they were burning, even worse than how the sun was warming the back of her coat. Her banner streamed out behind her as she picked up her speed to a run.

By the time she reached the base of the mountain, her tongue was hanging out as she lightly panted. Her head tilted back as her gaze followed the rock structure all the way up to the top after pausing. It was huge, that was for sure, and she wondered if any wolf had dared to go all the way to the top. One thing was for sure, she wasn’t going to be doing it! Other wolves were about, she could smell them, but it wasn’t a shock to her. Camille had come to realize that just about everywhere she went wolves were bound to be nearby. Maybe she would meet someone this time.

Her pillars were soon in motion again as she started to follow the trail up to the mist. Her ears remained pricked upon her head, listening for anything that might be near. It wasn’t long before mist surrounded her, already making it hard to see. Cami realized that she would have to be careful from here on out. Maybe wolves have gotten lost in the mist before?

Camille found herself traveling higher up the mountain, enjoying how the cool air ruffled her pelt. Only when she got to the point where the cool air felt just right did she stop. Blue optics looked around but it was hard to make anything out that wasn’t literally right in front of her. My gosh! She couldn’t help but to vocalize her thoughts then. If she continued any further than she probably wouldn’t even be able to see her own paws. Her gaze halted upon a spot that was clear of any jagged rocks. Her ivory and ebony form headed over to it, she could lay down here and cool off. Other wolves wouldn’t spot her off the side of the trail, not unless they were focusing on her smell or looking for a place to rest themselves. Cami already felt better, but she wasn’t in no hurry to travel back down. She might even take a nap here. Then she could move on and explore more places.
