Mordred is the reigning king of Shaman. He is the younger half-brother of King Arthur and Nimueh's youngest child. He is a consummate actor and master manipulator. He is excellent at reading people and will become exactly what that person needs him to be to get what he wants from them. As such it is sometimes difficult to discern Mordred's true personality. He is cold, inclined to cruelty and selfishness and only experiences emotion on a shallow level. For example, he may feel contentment but never joy, disappointment but not sorrow. He is highly intelligent and specialises in clockwork and mechanisms. He is very neat and is always very precise. He dislikes inefficiency. He claims that his brother, King Arthur, was murdered by his son Tristan. There are rumours however that it was Mordred who murdered the old king. He will stop at nothing until he has extinguished Arthur's line and destroyed Tristan.
