When the silvery female approached her nephew’s pack she was unsure how he would reach to her. She had been away for a while so she would understand if he was bitter that she had not been to visit sooner, but she was very happy to see that he was happy to see her. She was just telling him that she was here to visit and see how he was doing when he began to undergo the same change that she recently went through. Adara remembered how scary and painful it had been, and she wished there was a way that Drizzt could make his own transformation without having to go through the pain, but there was no other way. And there was no way to stop the transformation, it happened on its own accord whether the varg was ready or not. All she could do was to be with him, even though that would bring no physical relief to the pained brute.
It hurt Adara in a different way to watch him suffer in this way. But she knew there was nothing she could do, even though that didn’t make it any easier. If there was a way for her to take his pain away she would have done so. She had no idea how long it would last either, and that just made it worse. All she could do was hope it would be over for him soon. It was interesting to watch the brute undergo the change, to see the physical transformation spread across him. She wondered what it had looked like when the others in their family went through the same process and how different she might look now. From what Adara could tell it was only the intensity of her eye color that had changed, but she could not be positive.
After some time, Drizzt came out of the trance and began to get to his paws slowly and shakily. Adara stayed close by, ready to give him support if he should stagger at all. Concern filled her features as she watched him, hoping that he was alright. "You... your eyes too. We are...Tem... Tempest? We are Tempest. But... where are the angels?" She gave him a smile, hoping that it was encouraging. Adara took a moment to look him over, but he didn’t seem to be physically hurt at all, other than the soreness that was probably aching throughout his body. ”Yes Drizzt, we’ve changed. The old magic that used to be here is back it seems. Our old bloodlines have brought it back to life inside us. The voices you heard were there to guide you through the transformation. Sadly I do not know much more at the moment about it. But how are you feeling, are you alright?” She wished that she could tell him more, but she still was unsure about so much herself. Perhaps they should visit the rest of their kin and see how they were faring, and what other information they could be given.
