Despite the cooling frost beneath her belly, there was a warmth that spread through her as her eyes closed to bask in the waning sunlight. Nerys was quite enjoying her small rest in the sunset upon the hill until the sound of steps in the snow and a cold shadow passing over her. Hazel eyes flicker open to see the silhouette of an older male standing before her, the shining orange light of the sun sparking behind his head and causing her to squint at him. His voice rolled off the tongue in a charming manner and he used words that she was not accustomed to hearing, especially from a creature of the masculine variety. ”You know, I really wouldn’t mind it as long as I get to take my nap,” she quips dryly.

He moves closer to her and she is able to pick out more detail than just his outline before he addresses her again. He is certainly small but not lacking in quality of appearance. There are a few tatters here and there but what self-respecting male wouldn’t have some scars after surviving their prime? Nerys is not one to judge on age alone - or any factor really. She always keeps an open mind until something reveals itself that she does not agree with.

”I suppose my nap can wait until sundown,” she retorts with a cheeky half-smile. Her golden legs stretch outwardly before she moves to stand and shake off the snow clumping at her underside. ”I don’t have a true reason for stopping at the mountain territory other than it has its own natural appeal,” she pauses to regard him for a moment before looking out at the expanse of peaks. ”Lead the way…” Another quirky smile is offered to him as she waits for his guidance into the Spirane domain.
