Quinn does find the expressions on Draco's face interesting, if nothing else. Of course the guy seemed to be much more calm about the matter than Quinn would have pegged him to be. Perhaps there was some hope for Draco after all. Quinn would give it a few minutes to find out for sure. Not like he had anything else to do right now. Just some endless search that probably wouldn't mean anything to him anyway. It made him want to sigh to think about the entire thing, but he doesn't. He holds it all in and plays it off as if he's fine, good as per usual. He can poke fun at Draco and use that to make himself feel better, though it's only a fleeting thing and he'll feel just as bleak soon enough again.

He cannot let anyone see that part of him. That side needed to be shoved away, locked up and hidden from view. He could deal with all of that later when he was alone. Or with the animals who did not judge him for it. Maybe Eska did. He wasn't convinced that she wasn't giving him the eye every now and then. Not that she would have any reason for it, but she had been grumpy the moment they ended up here in Shaman with all the water. With it falling back, Quinn wondered if she suspected it would go back as it was and ruin all of her fun. Quinn would be plenty pissed about the water returning as well, because finally there was room to run again, and forests to explore and feel more like himself in.

He needed that. More than he needed this conversation with The Hair. Quinn would still attempt to be social, as it was something he was still to this day working on. What was he doing here. He gave Draco a careful look. "I do mercenary work sometimes. Recently won a tournament beating the snot out of some of the champions here, too. Before everything changed around here. Which means I'm here to see if there's any new jobs or anything to do under the new rule." He said evenly, wondering if that was what Draco expected or not. Quinn had gotten a little wordy with the answering of the question, but trying to be social, when it was him, could go so horribly wrong. Over-sharing might be just that.
