the descent to hell is easy

It came as no surprise that the young empress changed her posture as Eclipse took a step forward. Those green and blue eyes of her one woman welcoming committee hardened for a moment seemingly in preparation for an attack. But as Eclipse continued to speak, she settled back into a less defensive stance. Her eyes break contact with Eclipse’s and look over her large, striped figure; perhaps looking for any signs of pregnancy that had been spoken of. To be honest, the silver nightmare was not certain if her womb was to be filled with life this season. But it was her plan to attempt it in the very least. If not this season then the next. Despite her age she still had much fruit to bear and troves of knowledge to pass on to her successors. Moladion would be repopulated with the bloodline of the brindled devils once again, even if she had to die doing it.
Her mind drifts off into the memories of her past, of how her siblings were slaughtered at the teeth of some self-proclaimed saint. She is not allowed to reminisce any further as Aster’s voice breaks into the void of her mind and brings her back to Moladion within a moment. Asteraia. It was a strange name for a territory but it captured some kind of dark allure within its tone. She speaks with pride of how it is a safe area thus far and Eclipse is inclined to question exactly how so, but she keeps her words to herself for now.
A brow is raised slightly at the alpha’s eye-narrowing reaction to her bold assumption. Maybe she has struck a chord with the girl after all. She is brash in her response, straightforward, as if begrudgingly admitting that Eclipse was correct in her statement. ”I don’t consider myself a warrior, nor an assassin, nor a guardian. Maybe I am capable of those things but I don’t name myself such…” she muses as her eyes fall away to the rolling fields behind the girl. ”Just call me your arsenal.” A nasty smile takes its place on her features as she looks back to her.
She has been allowed into the pack by this pretty, young thing; with much less resistance than she received from the swamp wolves. Her dark heart is just so touched. ”My dearest Aster.” she moves to take her first step into the territory, her colossal figure coming up along the alpha’s left side. ”I am Eclipse,” she responds with a small, ghoulish smile, her eyes alight with the prospect of opportunity that has now opened itself up to her.
