That night when I had bared my soul to Halcyon and in return he had revealed his secrets to me had been the beginning. The true bond between us that grew and stretched and led into the very love that had consumed us. A different sort of love from when I was a pup and he was my guardian, my possessiveness of him stronger than any other true emotion. Now as I stretch out across the damp plains with a slowly swelling belly, to help ease my constant hot flashes, I wonder if this was what it was like for my parents. Their bond was sealed from their soul, unlike ours, but I wanted to think ours was just as strong. I had expected him to rage and rant at me for the foolish things I had done. For accusing Eden of being a terrible King despite being a terrible Princess. But he had listened and understood and taken the weight of my burden from my shoulders. Vesper was resting within the caverns for now - perhaps I would move her bones later to somewhere she would have wanted but for the moment she lay within the confines of the meeting of her and my mother.

I liked to think she would have liked that.

It is his call that rouses me from my light slumber, my body caked in the gentle snowfall and breaths pluming in the air around me. My ears twitch as I lift my head, scenting the wind. Was it truly him? I had... wondered where he was. If he truly abandoned me because of my rage. Not that I could really blame him. I was often impetuous and the truth had stung more than I could endure. Yet after meeting with Eden it made me wonder - was he here truly for me? Or for some fell deed of his snake of a father? Still, I rise, because I can do nothing else. I cannot send him away but I also cannot endure not knowing.

The night is filled with the crunching of frosted snow beneath my furry paws. Then I spy him it is as if I can see and sense the dark energy coiling and burning off him, the way the moonlight glitters against the red of his eyes, and my ears flip back in caution. My emerald and blue eyes twitch to the scar that I gave him - a reminder. And also, perhaps, a claim. My heart thunders in my ear as I stop a few feet from him, sensing perhaps the violence that shrouds him, and the mothering instincts that have begun to awaken flourishing. Was he friend or foe now? Did he come at Eden's behest or as my Chancellor?

"Elohim," I say with a wary tone to my voice, nervousness burning in my but I keep my tone calm. Cold. Calculating. The kind of Queen he wanted me to be, raged at me to be. Maybe it would draw some line in the snow for us or maybe it would melt away if he were to just tell me whether things had changed between us.

Kuk - The Chosen One - Darkness personified, this wolf is the chief warrior and is given all the same rights as the Pharaoh. Made of strength, tasked with teaching the youth to build their strength.
Thoth - Advisor to Sekhmet - God of wisdom, reason, and secrets. This wolf is extremely loyal to the Pharaoh. They can make and block steals as well as accept challenges when Sekhemt and the Kuk are unable to do so.

Imhotep - Divine Priest - Spiritual Advisor to Sekhmet. You will make sacrifices to the gods in her name.
Amunet - The Heir - One who is hidden and her powers are connected to the words silence, stillness, mystery and obscurity.
Ma'at - Lead Diplomat - God of justice and order. You maintain peace and order within the pack and with those to whom we are bound.

Nephthys - Head Butcher - God of death and decay. You, mighty butcher, will be the artful assassin. Those marked should meet Anubis soon.
Set - Head Thief - God of chaos and change. Take everything that you need and a little extra to grow. The rest is tribute.
Horus - Head Hunter - God of good hunting. Great hunter, the feast will be plentiful when you step on the fields.
Isis - Head Healer - God of healing and protection. You mend the wounds and do not allow weakness to fester.
Seshat - Head Informant - God of knowledge. Gather information on our friends and enemies alike.

Scepters - Warriors - You will work closely with Sobek. Fight for your pack; you will often be asked to escort other members on outings when it is seen fit.
Kemet - Hunters - Working under the eye of Horus, you will ensure the pack is fed.
Medjay - Scouts - Show me, what bounties can you find for the gods? Report your findings to Seshat.
Snares - Thieves - The world is ours, let us reap from it. Learn your art from Set.
Heka - Healers - Work with Isis to heal wounds and ease pain; repair what is broken to the best of your abilities.
Scribes - Diplomats - You will work under Ma'at to complete the duties of mantaining peace within and outside of the pack.

Kith - Children of Asteraia - The youth are our future.
Kin - Unranked members of Asteraia - Those who have not yet chosen a specialty, or who do wish to.
