He would have felt horrible for knowing he messed up what she had wanted to say. Though he had a feeling he was wrong when silence fell between them after his own reply and he didn’t get any affirmation that he was wrong or right. A frown creased his muzzle, his ears tilting back somewhat trying to figure out exactly what she had been trying to say then. He had been so sure, and he felt so bad for being wrong. There were very few that could make him feel real guilt or upset feelings, Nahal was one, Alcmene the other. Though he did wonder where the huntress had gotten to since Nahal’s return. He wondered if she was still worried, or upset about his sister coming back, his own fondness for her could be described as… a little stronger than it should have been. However, she was one of the few who truly understood him, his hardships, though much had changed since they last seen each other he felt that sibling bond reattach the moment he touched her again.
However, he wanted to figure out what Nahal wanted to do. She hadn’t met Eden yet… something Haziel was a bit nervous about herself. Eden wasn’t exactly fond of those with ailments, then again, Haziel had proven his worth and became his beta even though he was blind. When he really focused he could sit there listening to the beat of Nahal’s heart even though she was a few paces away. Though this same attention caught her slightly slurred words this time there was no mistaking what she was trying to say. ”We can do that, I am not doing much else at the time.” Haziel said to her, he had lots of time to dedicate to this now that they were together. It was hardly work, not to him at least. He wanted to dedicate his time to her, help her get through this dark world best she could. He also saw it as a way to further prove to Eden she was fine here in this land. There was a lot to catch up on though, a lot he wanted to hear about. He was sure she had experienced a lot while she was outside of Moladion.
All the more reason to see that he helped her learn.
”Well come with me, we will go to my den and we can start talking.” He knew she was good at reading lips at least, but he couldn’t really imagine how hard it was to make tones come out just right when she couldn’t hear them for herself. To have any level of speech at all was amazing. Though really he was making his way easily. By now he had learned the grounds of the lands that he could walk anywhere he wanted with ease. He lead the way through the lands soon coming across his den. It was far in the mainland, mostly cause the sound of the sea, and the spray of the salt water blinded him further. His nose and ears were his sight, so being far away as he could from all the noise was the only thing he could do. It was why he liked winter too. Everything was muffled… quiet. Magnified so that he knew sooner when someone was approaching.
It was a loomy little den, a bit unsightly for most given he didn't’ care what it looked like so long as it served a purpose. Downed trees all around, simply a pit in the ground not under or hidden except by the brush surrounding it. ”Well… here we are.” It was pretty apparent it was a bachelor pad. Not even Alcmene came by all the time and certainly no puppies.
”So where to start… I mean you understand me, so we should start with greetings, pleasantries. There’s.. a lot.” He knew it was a daunting task, but sitting down and thinking where to start, well that was was the hard part.
