FEEDBACK IS GREAT. pls claim 100$ on updates.

for baby coupon, there are currently 0 guidelines and it's entirely down to staff discretion what the player gets for that item. in the past when players have used the baby coupon they have received things like extreme powers (e.g. hypnosis/possession), high number of powers (say, 5), v. cool themes (there was a dragon char once) and recently a baby received a unique item. i'm looking at setting up more guidelines for this and maybe a list of ideas for staff or links to places with inspiration.

impetus prizes - i was not the biggest fan of the rev system as it was. i liked the personalised nature of the quests but i understand it was v. high maintenance for the staff issuing them. i also personally don't agree with issuing prompts for a set prize, because i think the prize given should be determined by the posts the player writes, not the prompts the staff gives. e.g. i know i can knock out a 1000 word post in under an hour if i need to, but i also know that i can spend 6 hours writing a post the same length if i'm really putting in the time, effort and research, and i don't think those two scenarios should be rewarded equally. that said, will have a chat with fen about what she felt worked/didn't work so well about the rev system and see if it sparks anything.

explore system - as i said to dema, this is such an untested brand new thing that any feedback on this is v. v. v. useful. merl and i are both going to try and use it as much as possible ourselves too to get a sense of how it's working and how we can improve it. all feedback here greatly appreciated.

collector/ragman - currently a loose system with limited guidelines. the collector places offers only on collectable/rare items and very expensive shop ones, and will offer around 100% of the value. the ragman offers on all items and offers around 50% of the value. if you go onto the collectables page or your bank you will see that collectable/rare items are given a value of between two prices; this is new this version. to determine the collector offer, staff hit those two values into the generator and generate a random number between them for the offer. this is currently limited to the collectables shown on that page as it is on trial but if it works will be rolled out to other rare/expensive items, including powers. we also need to look at how the ragman offer works, what counts as an "expensive item" in the shops and thus gets the interest of the collector, and the overall fairness of the whole thing. again feedback here v. appreciated.
