She had done her best to conceal any trails that may have lead possible pursuers to her since she had accepted Coquette’s offer. The young girl had planned to tough it out alone and keep herself on the move for the sake of her own safety until she had become settled. It was not entirely logical for her to remain nearest to the border of Moladion when it was not certain that others had not hunted her here. But, then again, she was secured within a pack that seemed mighty enough to fend off a couple of huntsmen that may or may not be after her. Her mother was a powerful and wretched creature so she would not put it past her; in fact, she expected it in the least.
With her place among the Taviorans secured and her budding relationship with her adoptive mother growing, she felt well enough to do some explorations outside of the border. Every day she would venture further and further away from the territory until she became more comfortable with the lay of the land. She learned the well worn pathways that most travellers and pack wolves took, as well as shortcuts and secret passages that she had discovered on her own time.
Today she navigates farther than she has been before, heading south across the river that stems from the lake below Taviora and continuing onward until a large, rugged mount rises in the distance. She skirts around it, wary of the scents that cling closer to its rocky face, and finds interest in the dark and inviting subterrane that exposes itself at the base. Various openings in the rocks reveal themselves to her as she treks through the waning winter snow in search for something more peculiar. A gaping cavern is tucked within a hollow of stone as she turns a corner and the glimmer of something inside catches her eye. She stops for a moment to contemplate, narrowing her black eyes as she peers toward the beckoning darkness of the crevasse. It catches a ray of sun again and she moves cautiously forward toward the mouth of the cave. She was searching for a thrill and now she was sure that she has found something intriguing enough to have her time.
