Kattari must have decided her time was up in these lands cause he hadn't seen hide nor hair of her since they spoke last. She seemed discontent anyway so maybe that was a good thing. At least he could stall her fate with Diveen just a little while longer. That had to count for something when it came to family. He would always do what it took to protect blood because without it, what was he? Without it, there was no reason to keep fighting and defending a pack where he wasn't even sure that he belonged. But instead of changing himself for the pack, Cuirass was working on changing the pack for himself. He had started that by bringing Kattari here. She was family and if Pine said to bring more like him here, then she was the jack pot. She was a cannibal and a killer. Then he went and got Flare to follow him back to Iromar and she was a killer too. She was strong and though she may have some age on her now, Cuirass had no doubt that she could still pack a punch.

He hadn't been up to much since but he had a few ideas in mind. Another winter had come and gone with no release and he wanted Belhara claimed as his own before the next cold spell hit. He would have to make it some kind of grand gesture but what other kind was there for him? It was always go big or go home right? He hadn't seen much of Pine since their last chat so he didn't know what she was up to. He wondered if she was a mother this spring. That should be interesting. She wasn't too much younger than himself but he still looked at her as young. Oh well. What he wasn't expecting today was a visit from a wolf he'd never met nor would he probably ever care to. Diplomats weren't really his thing. He was a doer, not a talker. And this guy was already rubbing him wrong by marching right up to him like he owned the place or something. Cuirass rose a brow at him but he had patience, at least for now. When the male's fur bristled, Cuirass tilted his head, ears pricked forward in curiosity. He wasn't intimidated in the slightest. If the other wolf made a move, he would defend himself without a problem.

Then he started accusing Cuirass of bringing someone here who supposedly attacked Pine's mate. Cuirass had never even met the guy but surely he could handle himself. Who was this guy to go charging around accusing people? Where was his authority? Cuirass glanced behind the guy as if looking for Pine or at least someone else to back this up before he snorted and smirked lazily, his tail giving an amused flick. "I'm irritated. And you are? The only wolves I have brought to this pack were family and additions that the alpha asked for. She wanted more wolves like yours truly? She got them. The only plans I currently have in mind have nothing whatsoever to do with her or her den mate and they have even less to do with the likes of you. Who did you say you were again? Oh wait....I don't care." He scowled, wrinkling his nose in distaste. Then as if to push his buttons further, yet another wolf strolled up like he owned the place...and this guy didn't even smell like he belonged to Iromar. What was the world coming to that complete strangers could just roll right in and no one would stop them No wonder Pine was vying for more cannibals in the mix.

His ears pinned flat the younger male who stopped and looked at the other male like he knew him. Then he had the nerve to put his opinion in the mix like they actually cared. Well, he knew he, for one, didn't. He snorted again and tilted his head at the new wolf, setting an intense gaze on him for a minute. But his ears pricked when the other started talking again, this time about the mysterious female that attacked Pine's mate. The words matched up with his own conversation with Kattari and then it hit him. He started chuckling, his tail wagging himself in amusement. So she actually did go after the alphas. How predictable. But his disappointment in his own sister rose when the wolf said that she attacked him and then left. So she must have wanted to make her mark on Iromar on her way out. Still, she didn't finish the job. Sloppy. He shook his head with a tsk tsk noise. "Ah, Kat, when will you learn, you must always finish what you start. Otherwise it'll just come back to haunt you." He was talking to himself more than anything but he didn't really care if either or both of them heard.

He finally looked back up at the two wolves, blinking as if just realizing they were still there. "Oh, so I guess you didn't get bored and leave. Alright then, here's a tidbit. She didn't want Iromar or the crown. She just wanted to challenge someone strong. She's testing herself. If the alpha can't handle one little female then what good are they? Now, are you two done taking up my breathing room yet?"
