The young male had been had never thought that life would take the turns that it had recently taken. His entire life had been fairly steady since coming to Blossom. Life before Blossom had been rocky, but he had figured out how to deal with all of that and had come to terms with what had happened in his past. He may have lost his birth parents and the rest of his family, but he had found a new family with Halina. She may only be one wolf, but she had been enough. Lupin was not a complicated brute, he liked life simple. When he had been in Abendrot he had been happy with just having her as a mentor, but often worked with her mate as well. He did not need a large pack to be happy. But Halina had left Abendrot and Lupin had felt alone. He had felt alone and abandoned enough that he knew he needed to leave and find a new pack, or to go back to being a loner. But he had come accustomed to living a pack life, so he decided to stay with it. And he had found himself at a new pack.
For the first few weeks Lupin stayed to himself to take the time to get to know his new home. Things seemed to be very normal then, nothing at all out of the ordinary. Until everything seemed to turn upside down, literally. Lupin still was not close to anyone in the pack, so when the lands beneath his paws began to shake with change, he had no one to turn to. Instead he had ran, leaving the pack lands for a time. It seemed that everything was changing though. It was not just the pack, it was the whole land itself. Fear struck through him, having no idea what was going on or what had happened. After things settled down again and it seemed that the earth would not open up and swallow him, he went back to the pack, unsure of what would be there. Things were different, but the scents of his packmates were still there.
As the scarred brute entered tentatively back into the pack, still unsure of what to expect, he caught the fresh scent of a nearby varg. For a while Lupin had stayed to himself, so it was no surprise that he had no friends yet in the new pack. So he decided to go outside his comfort zone and say hello. He used the skills that Halina had taught him to track the female, coming to find a multi-hued femme. Lupin had been trained to travel with stealth, so he was unsure if she knew that he was there or not. The male awkwardly cleared his throat, trying to alert her to his presence. He shuffled from paw to paw, finally forcing himself to speak up. ”Um…hello.” He did not recognize her from the very first pack, and only, pack meeting he had been to, so he hoped their paths had not crossed and he just didn’t remember. ”I’m not sure if we’ve met before…” His bright green orbs showed his nerves, not used to making conversation.
