serene and quiet. that's how everything had been until the sound of rolling of pebbles started filling her audits. they perked out of interest. just before she had the time to swing her head in the direction of the noise, a new one cut through the still air. it was a deep, spooking her a bit. when she finally turned her head around, she saw the midnight colored brute standing there, gazing down at her with admiration. a flirtatious smile formed on her kissers, the ivory princess letting out a soft giggle. heat rushed to her face a bit; however she just pushed that aside. no need to be nervous, he was simply asking a question. "hello there. what is a pretty lady like you doing all alone here?”

the sweetheart smiled at him, staying in the position she was. she wouldn't mind a little company, especially from a handsome brute such as himself. she studied him for a few moments, the scar on his face standing out to her. so he was a soldier? he had no scent of pack on him. maybe the little skirmishes they all faced resulted in that scar. she found it appealing, he seemed so.. calm. it soothed her. his question still rang in her ears. what was she doing here? thinking? relaxing? yeah. the lake had always been something to soothe her, let her thoughts slip away. all intabitions faded, her emotions were reset. onai loved it.

that little smirk still played on her lips as she watched him for another moment, then looked away across the lake. "hmm, wouldn't you like to know," she murmured sassily, amusement dancing in her eyes. she then moved herself up into a sitting position, knowing even then she was smaller than the brute. "helps me relax, the sight and the sounds." she shrugged and bumped her shoulder against his a bit teasingly. "and who might you be, mister?" she asked gently. onai's plume wrapped tightly around her dainty paws, her golden orbs staring down the male who had brought himself to her attention.

this stranger reminded her of the brutes back where she came from. handsome and charming. she had to learn her way of flirting just to get around. to get what she wanted. to get what she needed


"hmm?" the duchess mused, tilting her head a bit before she looked back out across the lake.
