It was nice to have such purpose now that he was back in Moladian and more importantly, in Glorall. He had a pack to defend and a wolf to train, that is, if Blackthorne would cooperate. And he had a mate to provide for and a growing family to protect. It was even more important to him now to see what Eden had in store for him so he could learn what he needed to give his alpha the best that he could of his abilities. He had no doubt that Eden only wanted the best for him and had set him on this path with Blackthorne to better himself. Maybe he knew Thor needed the challenge to shape him into the wolf he needed for Glorall. Either way, Thor wasn't about to give up. He would spar his way or talk his way or all of the above into getting the respect and attention from the younger wolf that he needed to get things accomplished as Eden would have them done. He didn't expect a freebie or a hand out and he certainly didn't ask for an easy task. Thor felt it only made him more confident in the end. He was settling the pieces of crab into the turtle shell basket when he heard the grumble of a greeting.
Ears pricking forward instantly, his head lifted as he gave a nod of respect and greeting back to Eden. He hadn't expected him to come out and meet him while he was hunting for Inanna but then, it did seem like all he did now a days and Eden had said he would find him when the time was right. Thor had looked forward to knowing what Eden needed of him. He had said something about advice and this had surprised him. Thor didn't think he was old or wise enough to be giving anyone advice. He still felt so young and new to the world on many things, but he would never deny Eden a good conversation if that's what it ended up being. Eden lifted a brow, looking surprised at the way Thor chose to kill the crab. It had turned a little savage for him, in truth, but he had found it as good a way as any to make sure they didn't pinch his lips and cheeks as others had done many times in the past. He wouldn't make the same mistakes twice.
Thor waited patiently as Eden sniffed about his basket. Maybe with strangers he would be more suspicious of their intentions but with Eden he knew there was nothing to fear. If anything, he only saw curiosity in the alpha's gaze as he stopped a few feet away and addressed him by name. As Eden got on the trail of another crab, it would seem, Thor saw it only fit to follow along so they could talk and hunt. He let Eden lead the way this time, almost eager to see the alpha's own approach to the clawed warriors of the beach. His ears pricked at Eden's question, chuckling when he caught his meaning. He shook his head, his tail giving a wag of amusement. "If anything, it was too good to me, Eden. My mate, Inanna, is with child. She craves food like a fish craves water. It's hard to keep up with her ravenous appetite." He offered a smirk, his eyes lighting up with tell tale enjoyment of the task even as he complained because he didn't really mean a word of it. It was just two guys venting about their lives now and he felt Eden should know the good news.
Maybe the alpha would even had a tip or two on how to handle her mood swings, if there was such a thing as a tip for that.
