aurora borealis- noun plural: An aurora that occurs in northern regions of the earth. Also called northern lights.

In the middle of a dense forest of coniferous trees lies the Aurora Borealis pack, its name coming from its location. At certain times of the year, the northern lights appear, dancing almost magically in the sky. A narrow trail leads you through the close evergreens. Giving into temptation, you begin moving your paws. By venturing into this territory, you are venturing into a land belonging to a pair of feared leaders. You have heard rumors of them...but you decide to take your chances and hope that the tales of blood and death are merely fabricated stories to scare wolves.

You have walked nearly five minutes before you realize the sound of paws stepping somewhere from behind. Deciding that you've made a mistake, you quickly turn around, but find that you cannot go any further. Standing before you is one of the mighty kings you've heard of. His blood red pelt clings over perfectly toned bands of muscle. But that isn't what causes such fear in your veins. One of his amber eyes has a horrid, bleeding scar across it, and his good eye seems to stare right through you. His face is expressionless, giving off none of his intentions. You cower away as his jaws part.

"I'm Hell Demon."

His voice was deep and cut through the air like a hot knife through butter. Right where he left off, another voice picks up from behind you. You whirl around and find yourself facing another male with steely muscles beneath his pelt, which seems to consist of every shade of brown. He had startled you, and you're amazed how you hadn't at all detected his approach.

"And I am Ghost...we're the alphas of Aurora Borealis."

His deep voice was laced thickly with a Native American accent. His own golden eyes are directing a harsh glare your way. Now you're caught in the middle...your breathing has become heavy in your panic and you're not sure which to face.

"You've foolishly trespassed into our territory. You face the one called Hell Demon's whose voice is once more addressing you. Get out, or become a corpse along our border."

It's obvious they mean business. So now it's up to you...take your chances and stay, or heed their warning and waste no time getting out with your life.

As soon as he broke through the tree line, his pools picked up on immediate change in the femme. Her pinned pinnae perked up, and focused upon him, and her lovely fluffy plume began to wag slowly. Andre is cocked his head with a dopey smile painted across his kissers-she was glad to see him! He had manage to take a second to collect himself and not act like an idiot again, and had greeted her warmly in his deep vocals, And gently he had inquired as to why she had come. He did not want her to feel unwelcome, not at all. But he had a natural sense of curiosity when it came to her, and he want to learn everything he could about her. Her reasoning for doing things, for example, and that included why she would come to his pack. She remained for a few moments after he spoke, but that did not mean she was idle. Her eyes swept over him in waves, observing him, studying him very blatantly, and Aindreas found himself shifting his weight from one paw to the other. He did not know whether she was measuring him up, to see whether he was a worthy Alpha. Or perhaps she was sizing him up, seeing whether she wanted to challenge him for his throne. But she gave no reason for that, however she did give her a reason for coming, and answered his spoken question despite not answering the unspoken question.

' I had nightmares and I didn't want to disturb my brother but I don't really know anyone in blossom so I came here.'

Once again, his head tilted, this time and concern rather than confusion. He felt honored that she felt that she could come to him with this. Perhaps she already felt the bond that he felt too, and felt as if she could trust him. He had never before been one for talking, but if talking would be what would calm her now, that he would talk to her hearts content. His own azures swept over her, but he was looking for injuries, wounds. It was his experience that nightmares often came from experiences that one had, and while in pups it usually came from stories that they were told by their parents, adults usually had nightmares due to something else-attacks, torture, or terror. His electric gaze found nothing of note-or at least nothing that spoke to injury. That did not mean much, considering her coat could easily be hiding scars or anything else, and the thought of anyone harming her, harming Mai , sent a ripple of anger coursing through his veins. His hackles rose to half mast and tremble there… He would kill any other whoever tried to injure her ever again. But while normally that anger would linger, would boil and brew into something bigger, as he stared at her, he felt it all dissipate. Her beauty had a calming affect upon him, and he felt his hair is lowering back to lay flat upon his body. However, he instead now felt pulled to her, drawn. He took one step across The boundary, and then another until he was finally right in front of her. He reached out to touch her, his snout stopping mere millimeters from the point of her shoulder. But before he touched her he drew back. He was not one for physical touch. A time he had ever touched another, or been touched by them, it had caused him physical pain. That pain was often masked during a fight, where his anger protected him. But anytime hey sister had nuzzled against him and comfort, or he had nuzzled against his son, it had pained him.his instinct told him to touch her, to comfort her. Was that not why she was here? To feel safe, to have someone to talk to, to feel protected? But he could not bring himself to touch her, to have her be a source of pain to him. And so he stood in front of her, hoping that his presence would be enough. Besides, what she even have wanted to be touched by him, to be embraced?

They had not been this close when they had first met, and Aindreas found her scent intoxicating. Her perfume wafted tickly about him, engulfing him, and taming the wild beast inside of him. He wished that she would look at him, for after she had spoken her gaze had dropped to the ground. How would she react to him being this close? They were strangers really, but he knew her soul and knew that it belonged with his. "I am sorry indeed to hear that you had nightmares, dear Mai. I would wish upon you only sweet dreams of comfort and happiness, and nothing so dark and decrepit as a nightmare to ruin your slumber. I once had a friend who would be able to know what herb to prescribe to gift you with dreamless slumber, to ensure that you were at least well rested without being hunted in the meantime. Alas she is gone from this land, and has been for a while. I apologize, I am not one for words, and I am afraid that per usual I am at a loss of what to say now. Is there anything that I can do? I would do anything for you, to help you through this… Would it help you to talk about what your nightmare entailed? What it was about?" it did not bother him in the slightest that she had come to him over her own brother. Instead, he was elated. Overjoyed really. He had thought that he would never be able to find her again, that she would disappear into the fog of maybes and be a distant memory. Yet here she was, And she had come to him.

' I also wanted to see if you would allow me to join, allow me to make a home here; in your pack?'

Only, then, did she look up. His eyes locked onto hers, and he felt his heart skip a beat to before galloping away at a thunderous rhythm. He swallowed, and then quickly sat down. His heart had not been the only thing frantically waggling; his tail had begun to wag infuriatingly fast, happy at the prospect that she would be staying within his lands. That she would not be leaving, or at least not leave for any extended period of time. Vastly had he sat down, upon his tail, to stop the childish notion. " I would be happy and honored for you to join my pack, my dear. Err... miss. Ma'am?" he shook his head, once again annoyed with himself, but at least he was able to string sentences together now, unlike the first time he had met her. " do you have any special skills, or is there perhaps anything you really desire from the pack? I just want it to be… All that you want it to be. I want this to be your home too."
