Misty Mountain is opposite of Rainbow Cliff. Mists hover year-round at this high altitude, mistaken by some to be thin clouds. Thin layers of snow cover the mountain, making some areas slippery and hazardous.

Some think it romantic, a place to bring their mates, while others come to play and romp. However, all must agree that there is some level of mystery and spookiness hovering about with the mists...

The way he titled his head left Pepper feeling like she was being studied. Had she said or done something wrong? His words soon put her mind at ease, for now at least, because they reassured her that no harm was done. Your understanding of me being a brainless fool is appreciated. A small grin was given as she attempted a joke. Perhaps laughter would lighten the air? Then again, she probably wasn’t any good at making others laugh either.

The newcomer’s big smile was returned with a smaller one in shyness, still not sure what to do. Perhaps she could take cues from the other two? The other huntress had rested her lower end to the ground, but she couldn’t bring herself to do that just yet. Her comfort level was not that high. The giggle that was given caused her ears to prick towards Mai. Movement from Aindreas, his head shake, had her mainly focus back upon him. His soft smile eased her worry, perhaps this, socializing, wouldn’t be so hard after all. Listening to his belief upon what made a good alpha got a small grin, Pepper agreed with him. Sure, she didn’t know much about pack life, she had never been in one, but she was all for good minded wolves who didn’t flaunt power. What was that saying, respect others to earn respect?

She dipped her head back to Mai, wondering if that was a custom thing to do. Hopefully she had done right. Oohh! The other ess was a newcomer like herself, this revelation caused her to wag her banner a little. The idea of having something in common made her not feel like such a sore paw sticking out, especially since she just wanted to blend in. Blossom Forest was indeed strange to her, she agreed with Mai on that, but she also found it beautiful. It intrigued her to say the least. There was so many various places to explore, and they were all unique if not a little weird.

Pepper looked to Aindreas when Mai brought attention to his eyes. Indeed, they did appear to be glowing, she hadn’t noticed that before. It was cool, but she still found Mai’s eyes to be more intriguing. Aindreas had been nodding his head, acknowledging Mai as she spoke, at least that’s what the gold eyed lady assumed. But then the words stopped, and the ivory titan was still raising his cranium up and down. If she had more socializing experience, she might have picked up on how the alpha was behaving towards Mai, but since she lacked experience she thought maybe he was having social problems like her. He was speaking again, explaining about his eyes, and Pepper listened intently.

She couldn’t make sense out of some of it, but one word got a notable reaction. Vampire. Now she found herself titling her head at an angle, questioningly, as he finished speaking. Vampires? It was obvious that she hadn’t thought them real. What was he talking about? Tempest, Arcus Irae what were those supposed to be? Pepper felt completely lost on just about every other word he just uttered. Surely, he hadn’t hit his head when she caused him to stumble? A glance was given to Mai, wondering if she had made sense out of his words. Perhaps Aindreas would explain more when he noticed her confusion.
