Ruieze Fields

Open fields and soft grass...
Ruieze stretches far in the midlands of Moladion, laced with streams that feed into Diveen and out of Asteraia at times. The fields are vast, filled with wildflowers and tall, soft grass; trees are sparse, as are rocks, but one can find small shrubs to hide amongst, and the grass itself. To the south of the fields, a Ruieze River widens, and the ground becomes sandy. There is a small, grassy island that can be reached from the banks, with water-birds often congregating on the island rather than the riverbanks.

It is about time that I go off on my own and explore the world a bit. I have experienced my first year of life, and I am old enough to wander some from my home of Diveen. I think I somehow escaped the sights of my ever watchful and annoying brothers. My dark grey head lifts up and my multi-colored eyes look back for a moment. Who knows really if they are following or not. I sigh slightly, my eyes glaring in the general direction of Diveen, hoping that if they are following or watching, that they would get the damn hint that I want some time to explore on my own.

I march off then, my dark form coming into a field. I then hear a giggle in the ear, and one that is quite feminine in nature. It was distant from where I stood, but my ears perked and my head lifted to listen to where it originated. I blinked a few times, my handsome head turning towards where I thought it came from. My black tail wagged behind me as I grinned. I then marched on over to where the sound came from.

Through the tall grass I see nothing at first but grass. Ugh. At least it was not grass that seemed to have stickers or anything particularly horrid in it. I break through the tall grass tentatively, my brows furrowing as I do so. I then see paws in the air just barely, and someone must be on their back. What the hell are they doing? I move to where I see them now, looking down to see them staring at the blue sky. A girl, it is, and perhaps someone who might look pretty if she were not ruining her perfectly good hair by rolling around in the grass.

”You really should not do that if you want to keep your pretty looks,” I say rather sternly. Looks are a serious thing, and I lift a brow as I watch her. ”You don’t want to be covered in dirt and worse off- bug like ticks and fleas, do you?” I ask genuinely. I mean, I figure everyone’s parents would tell them about these things. Either her parents are stupid or she was stupid, but I will tell her what she needs to do regardless.
