Wildlife officials will not be convinced without evidence. IF it was a mountain lion, (or bobcat for that matter), they pose no more fear to humans than a bear or other wild animal. They avoid human contact. Where they are common out west, attacks are extremely rare. People spread false fear like this, and that is one of the reason many wildlife officials would rather not acknowledge them when they are present. Replies: There have been no replies.
