Enocra Woodland

Pine, spruce and firs alike...
Dense coniferous forests cover the woodlands, with clearings, paths and the occasional wildberry shrub throughout. Pine, spruce and fir make up much of the forest in the east, with the forest becoming swampier in the west towards Mecor Valley. In the west, cypress trees dominate, with fallen trees creating bridges across and throughout the stillwaters.

Small though he was, Zharko was a thoughtful and clever wolf which is why Thorne had taken such a liking to him. True, his berserker temper often flared especially when the two dominant forces spent much time together, but Blackthorne rather enjoyed the constant challenge. The need to assert was often assuaged by the battles they viciously fought - the scar across Zharko's face a pleasing sight to the obsidian boy if only because it marked him as HIS. Possession is a thing most strong in Thorne. Zharko fought against him but ultimately he respectfully followed him, and that was the basis of their dynamic. One night even tentatively call them friends for of all things in Blackthorne's life there were at least two constants: Zharko and Natiya. Speaking of his sister, his eyes trail across the smaller figure of his Commander as he plans and plots. His motivations are entirely selfish despite his 'task' and they involved spying and training. He had too long left Natiya to her own devices. He enjoyed her obedience but soon he would make his own mark in the world and he needed her strong and capable - a weapon he could wield much as he wielded those around him.

His charcoal eyes turn to Zharko as the male sits beside him, poised and alert, ready to do as commanded and he offers a snaggle toothed smile, eyes flashing. "Your time wandering is done. I trust you've learned what you needed to and are ready for my tasks?" There is a sly undertone for he always tests Zharko in such a way, not so tenderly poking the bear to see his mood and to test his own new motivations. While Zharko had begun to train himself on intelligence gathering, Thorne had begun to test his charming side, to see what he could reel in and what he should do.

"You are to come to Glorall with me as my convert, as I was tasked by the glorious Eden to bring one who would be useful to Glorall." The way he says Eden's name is full of derision, the aggressive side of him never enjoying the lack of power he held. Still, this mission was twofold. Access and information. "You are to make yourself useful to him but you will report any information back to me. Oh, and you shall train my sister while you are there. She lacks skill and training but I suspect she will be swift and cunning if you show her the way." He stands now, crossing in front of Zharko, an instinctive maneuver that reveals his side and shows his trust of his Commander. "Do not go easy on her, else she will suffer my displeasure." There is a sort of kindness around Zharko that Thorne had seen in the presence of females - this was a test. Would his Commander risk an innocent being hurt for being lax or did he not care? "Come on," he says then, beginning the trek to Glorall.
