Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

She is antsy, and wants what she wants now. This is a thing I can appreciate. A good taste for power, a drive for what she wants. She is worthy of my blood and I know she will use it well. However, she needs to ensure she is tempered enough to not rush into something and get herself into a situation she cannot get herself out of. I look at her as she speaks with firm copper eyes flecked with blue.

”Some things you must learn on your own. If you stray, come to me, and I will show you the way. You will know when this day will come,” I say observing her carefully. I may have to step in a bit more with these younger ones. My son has been all too absent and I have noticed Aeon wandering a little bit too much for my tastes at his age. I wonder if his mind will get corrupted by some outside source. The youth are rather...malleable. Juno is my focus now though, and she is here to listen. A good little girl.

”For now, you eat, you grow, and you watch. Watch the others in the pack. Listen. Observe. Figure them out. No one here will harm you as long as you do no action to bring it upon yourself” I say with the slightest of nod, perhaps so slight she may not even notice as the beach crashes next to us in the salty air.

Her words are of Eden now, and I simply listen as she speaks. It appears Anima is not a fan of my most...precious child. There is certainly something odd going on between all of them, and it irritates me that this female would speak this way about my Eden. I do not show my frustration to the young girl though. My face remains ever static, and my copper eyes ever bearing down on her. Anima may be my son’s mate, but perhaps she has met her time. Anselm has his own duties in this world and she may be getting in the way, especially if she is teaching such nonsense to my grandchildren. It is a long moment of silence, ocean, and wind before I finally speak.

”She is wrong,” I state firmly, my eyes intensifying my gaze, my body adjusting to lift somewhat in a foreboding manner. ”Eden is your Uncle. He is my blood just as you are my blood. However, do not interfere with him. He will not hurt you if you do not do anything to warrant it. I will not allow him, but you must not get in his way...less he weakens, but that will not happen for a long time,” I say in a commanding tone, all my words in Latin thus far. The wind moves slightly my dark black fur, the sun glittering upon me as I continue my harsh gaze. I stay this way for a moment before speaking once more. ”If you have any questions regarding Eden, you come to me, not your mother. I know him better than anyone else,” I say with my form lessening the tension somewhat as I take a breath, and finally lift my gaze from the small, young Juno for but a moment.
