Dag

Dag's long tail trailed behind her as she moved through the ocean with ease, her long muscular legs getting her closer and closer to her destination with each powerful stroke. Where her destination was and what exactly - she had no idea. A death bringing sickness had plagued her quaint little island. It ravaged through the soil and killed the vegetation and infected almost every member of her herd, leaving her one of the only survivors along with a handful of her siblings. Given that death was the only thing that waited for her if she remained, the sun kissed fem dove into the waters and headed in the direction she often saw birds fly. Whether the others had stayed or not was not of her concern, they were half-siblings who shared a father with her and nothing more. Dag had only hoped that they took her lead and would evacuate the Isle of Death before they starved.

The fem has no choice but to paddle on even as the sun sets behind her. Though she had always been a good swimmer and had a larger physique, she had never trekked this far through the water and her muscles begin to ache. She swims on through the night; giving herself constant encouragement to keep swimming despite the shooting pains that cripple her legs at times. It's as the sun begins to rise that she sees her harbor, silhouetted against the bright light behind it. A massive island that dwarfed her home and drives her to shore with newfound strength.

After 2 days at sea the fem finally reaches land. As she creeps out of the water her legs crumble beneath her weight and she must take a moment to gather herself before wobbling out of the shallow banks of the surf like a newborn foal. Once she finds her legs she tosses her head, kicks up her heels and begins to make her way inland. She can quickly rule out that the place is uninhabited, the place reeked of different equines and she even saw a few uninteresting characters as she trotted along. But the fem had other things on her mind than making friends - her parched throat screamed for relief as she feverishly searched for a source of fresh water. It doesn't take her long before her auds pick up the slight trickle of stream nearby, following close behind was the scent of wet soil. Dag lets out an excited snort before rushing in on the water, almost falling in as she slides to a stop at the bank. Dipping her mug into the crisp water she drinks her fill plus some and proceeds to drag her large body over to the plush spring time grass to graze and see if anyone would stumble upon her.

OOC:: Force-claim allowed! Still figuring her out so not sure what her reaction will be. Lol
