aurora borealis- noun plural: An aurora that occurs in northern regions of the earth. Also called northern lights.

In the middle of a dense forest of coniferous trees lies the Aurora Borealis pack, its name coming from its location. At certain times of the year, the northern lights appear, dancing almost magically in the sky. A narrow trail leads you through the close evergreens. Giving into temptation, you begin moving your paws. By venturing into this territory, you are venturing into a land belonging to a pair of feared leaders. You have heard rumors of them...but you decide to take your chances and hope that the tales of blood and death are merely fabricated stories to scare wolves.

You have walked nearly five minutes before you realize the sound of paws stepping somewhere from behind. Deciding that you've made a mistake, you quickly turn around, but find that you cannot go any further. Standing before you is one of the mighty kings you've heard of. His blood red pelt clings over perfectly toned bands of muscle. But that isn't what causes such fear in your veins. One of his amber eyes has a horrid, bleeding scar across it, and his good eye seems to stare right through you. His face is expressionless, giving off none of his intentions. You cower away as his jaws part.

"I'm Hell Demon."

His voice was deep and cut through the air like a hot knife through butter. Right where he left off, another voice picks up from behind you. You whirl around and find yourself facing another male with steely muscles beneath his pelt, which seems to consist of every shade of brown. He had startled you, and you're amazed how you hadn't at all detected his approach.

"And I am Ghost...we're the alphas of Aurora Borealis."

His deep voice was laced thickly with a Native American accent. His own golden eyes are directing a harsh glare your way. Now you're caught in the middle...your breathing has become heavy in your panic and you're not sure which to face.

"You've foolishly trespassed into our territory. You face the one called Hell Demon's whose voice is once more addressing you. Get out, or become a corpse along our border."

It's obvious they mean business. So now it's up to you...take your chances and stay, or heed their warning and waste no time getting out with your life.

It appeared that embracing her we had been the right thing to do. She leaned into him, which resulted into things-the first was that he pulled her tighter against him, and of course the second was that his pain doubled. It was worth it though wasn't it? For her to then nuzzle against him, her snout rubbing against his pelt and flesh. And then when she pulled away, and the pain stopped, she smiled. She truly smile. A bright, gleaming grin that made him forget the needles that had previously been sticking them selves into him, piercing skin and nerve. His azures watched her every movement, sweeping over her body abashedly as she stretched before him. His gaze averted from her as her own pools swept up to meet him, And instead laid upon her pads as she cross the boundary without hesitation. Today certainly have gone better than he had hoped, and everything was turning around. When he had awoken, he had feared the possibility that he would not be able to find her ever again, that his heart would feel her vitality but never know the joy of seeing her again. And yet feet seemed to have a hand in this all, considering she had then been the one to find him out, and now I wanted to make his home her home as well. It was all he could do to stop the childish grin from crossing his own face.

And yet then she had stopped and turned, looking for him, and the grin had quickly appears. Within the next moment, he had crapped his gaze back up to meet hers, and had moved his form back with in his own territory, his paws bringing him to her side safely. Aindreas was very exacting in his motions, and leaned in close enough to her so that their hairs might intertwine, but not close enough for any true contact. The result was minimal discomfort, and overriding it was the electricity, the pleasure that he got from the stimulation of her hair is against his. He nearly jumped, so sudden it was. He had never before tried it, fearing the pain, but even the mild discomfort he felt was forgotten. All that matters now is being near to her, to protect her and make her happy, to chase away the nightmares that would seek to darken her heart. Still she radiated beautiful colors, an aura of her emotions that was just as visible to Aindreas as Mai herself. The blackness, the fear, was largely gone, and the rest of it was quickly fading from her. With a firm not have his head, he answered his own question from earlier. It was completely worth it all.

'Thank you for allowing me to join you in your humble abode, if I ever need anything I'll be sure I know who to come to."

Aindreas smiled and nodded at her, hoping that she meant her words. It of course had been his pleasure to except her into his pack-it was a better outcome for the day than he could ever have hoped for. But what really pleased him was that she would come to him. He wanted to be someone that she could trust, and feel comfortable around. She was his soulmate-and while he did not know her well enough to love her yet, he felt that that was a very real possibility. After all, he was already stumbling over his words around her. "It is my pleasure to have you here, it would be my pleasure to help you should you ever have a need. I want you to think of me as a friend, even though we hardly know each other. I feel like I've known you all my life already…" The baritone vocals were quiet, hardly more than a murmured set of sentences strung together. But he meant every word. Soon enough, she was talking again, asking him to explore with her.

" care for a little exploring with your newest member?"

The hessian nodded, his snowy thick pelt bouncing with the motion. He had one snow and all of these lands thoroughly, but since the magic of the land had changed at all, there is much he did not have memorized intimately. Without saying another word, he lifted a single paw and gestured towards the interior, offering her to choose the direction they would go. Did not much matter to him where they went or what they explored. He was pretty sure that he would enjoy it as long as he was by her side.
