It seemed that Spirane, as one of the few packs on the island not involved in a conflict of some kind, had become a beacon for those seeking home and shelter. It was something she was rather proud of for the mountain shad always been a shelter for those needing it and she was more than happy to continue that tradition. More and more were finding their way to the mountains boarders and calls like the one today seemed to be resonating off the steep sides of their home with more frequency. She was trying to allow those who wished to be scouts and guards of her pack to welcome these newcomers, but it was hard for the young ruler to delegate as she wished to have her paw in every aspect of her pack.

She considered allowing someone else to answer the call today, but she simply couldn’t ignore the feeling that she should be meeting all who came into Spirane right away. So she set off at a quick jog down the familiar paths toward the boarder of their home, picking up Tychon’s scent as she grew closer. The wolf was proving himself very useful as a scout despite her never having even asked him. He was perhaps a bit… coarse in his manners but his heart was usually in the right place.

The dark girl appeared just as Tychon’s rasped “greeting” filled the air. She grimaced slightly, his approach not exactly how she would have gone about it but she supposed it was just one of their may differences. Clearing her throat she stepped out to join them, standing beside her small scout as she looked toward the girl of black and gold girl. “What Tychon meant to say is welcome to Spirane,” she shot a quick glance as her scout. Dangerous as times might be outside of their home she could not bring herself to cast judgement on someone she did not know. “And I am Kalseru Mountainborne, Bewilderbeast of Spirane and its protector. Please introduce yourself and tell us what brings you to our home.” She fixed her with a solid stare that while welcoming enough still stated that there were questions that needed to be answered.
