Aplos Riverside

Moladion’s powerful, winding river...
Aplos River is a broad, slow-moving river originating from somewhere beneath the mountains of Spirane and feeding Iromar’s moors in the south. The northern parts of the river are known for their strong currents, with the water becoming slow moving in the south. The riverbanks vary along its course, ranging from soft hummock grasses to small groups of pine, and sometimes nothing but pebbles and sand. Crossing can be difficult at times, but it can be swam or bridged by fallen trees or boulders alike.

I can see the boy is becoming quite irritated and I know this will only excite me and Blackthorne. His words of killing ring in my ears but he is a mere boy compared to me. Blackthorne was growing into his own form, but I am the eldest of this little group here, and I am not about to be taken out by a pouting frightening puppy.

The white boy lunged forward in an attack and although it seemed he may go for Thorne, he went for Eve. His teeth went forward and I know that I can take a little hit from him just to get a better bite for myself. Besides, Thorne will have his chance, and the boy will regret his actions on this day. The boy’s attack of teeth hit and inch or so below my right eye on my cheek, cutting enough to bleed but not much more than that. It was one of those wounds that would bleed but not even hurt.

Since I purposefully let him get a little bite in to get him close, I then snap my jaws at his right ear as Thorne went for the boy’s tail. I would reach out to try and grab it and snap- hoping to perhaps make a nice little rip in it at least, and at worst perhaps rip some off...maybe not even a clean rip. Dangling would be more entertaining right? My imagination swirled around with the possibilities, hoping that I land, and that Thorne’s tug on his tail would only make more damage on wherever I hit. I must admit, I may land elsewhere, but whatever I can get my teeth on I will take.

Thorne was taking it from here, taunting him further as I feel blood touch my liver lips- my own blood from the cut. I lick it and grin wickedly, my poison eyes flickering to the girl in the shadows who I met once before. My hackles were raised, and my visage was sharp and naturally vicious, however I managed a welcoming lift of a brow towards her.

”See what fun you can have when you leave your little cave, girl?” I bark out almost manically, my eyes snapping back to the boy and Thorne. ”Don’t worry girl, if you join in, we might not rip you to pieces- you might even have fun, hm?” I say in a twistedly tempting and sweet voice, moving to the other side of the boy so that Throne and I cover both sides- and there would be no escape. I do not mean to threaten the girl...well, who am I kidding, it is a threat. She will suffer if she decides to side with the boy and save him...but if she proves she can do what we need? Well...

”Look Thorne, the boy wanted blood, we can’t let him get away with it, hm? Less he begs and pledges himself to us, otherwise he must be punished for such actions,” I say with my somewhat light and sweet voice, almost taunting with such a tone I take, almost in a sarcastic manner. I did not really care that he got a little cut on my face- but it does not mean it is not a great excuse to play with.
