Where once the southern border of Blossom Forest was made by Leisure Lake, the magical rearrangement of the lands has laid there instead a vast, uncrossable ocean. The shore differs as you travel along it. Tall mountainous cliffs arise on the western part and at one point, the large river that runs through Blossom Forest opens up at its tributary into a well sheltered cove. As you come more eastward, the towering peaks shorten into rocky foothills. A large section of the shore is inaccessible to most, as Uyaraut has claimed it as their own. But if you skirt around their territory, the hills disappear, swallowed up into the land until it is as flat as the eye can see. The vibrant greens dull into short and dry browns and tans, and the land dries and cracks apart until it melds into The Waste - the desert that forms Blossom Forestís easternmost border.

For those looking to hunt here, there are of course the fish within the ocean, along with crabs, seals and urchins. For on the shore, there are seagulls, herons, and ospreys.

Broad white splashed paws drug deep into the finely crush glass of the shoreline, letting it slowly rub away the calluses that had built up over his pads through his travels. Once though they had been bloody, scraped up, and tattered as any newborn babeís soft pads would have been. Even when the steel titan had used to go out with his twin and play their games of fantasy as children, he always felt soreness but never had he broke through the naturally tougher skin. When Castiel had left to follow his parents in hopes of maybe finding solace once more in the turbulent world, his paw pads had hardly held up for two days. Even before the babe had been able to escape Blossom Forest, his paw prints were encased in a bloody seal from the open wounds and sores that had begun to multiply. This pain had been incredible and had almost driven the boy back to his comfy den, but then he remembered the discontent and lonesomeness and kept pushing through. He would stop and clean his paws each night after his days travels. Once he had made it out from Blossom Forest, he had stopped for a few days until his pads scarred over before continuing onwards.

Castiel stopped along the shoreline watching the waves roll in shallowly, as first light had barely broken over the earth from the eastern sideline. Over these last few days the young boy had studied the movement of the waves, they way they hugged the shoreline during the afternoon, and right now they were phasing from high tide to low tide once more. Paw steps move him close enough to allow the gentlest waves to touch his paws. The silt, and seawater slowly had started to become ingrained into his pelt as he had not left the seashore since his arrival. His cologne has started to become a mixture of his own scent and the oceanís deposits on his skin. Castiel did not mind this so much because it slowly began to mask his identity. Should anyone else that he knew come across him, he hoped that maybe he might be only that much more unrecognizable.

A rumble of hunger reverberated through his abdomen, shaking him from his own thoughts; a more carnal instinct coming over him, reminding him that his body needed to be fed and sustained. A deep breath pulled in the scents of the land, but he sorted through them looking for a particular sort of smell. One that only seemed to be carried by prey and lucky enough there was already a taint of blood on the air from something. Castiel rose up and trotted towards what he hoped would be his morning catch.

The stench of blood became stronger and stronger, making the rumbling in his stomach grow stronger and it churned in on itself. All of a sudden a hare broke through the brush on the edge, running straight for Castiel, unaware of the predator. He lunged and bit sharply into the neck, the sound of crushed bones and the limp body being his sign that he had taken the life of rabbit. A rustling of brush, alerted Cas to another being, and his ears flicked towards the sound. Vivid blue eyes watched the undergrowth as he waited for someone to emerge, but there was a splash of water instead as landed in one of tide pools. Seawater and blood mixed together, and infiltrated his nares, but underneath it he could smell the perfume of a she-wolf nearby. He padded cautiously towards the other wolf, making no use to hide himself from her. Excuse me miss, but you look at bit and weary to be traveling on your own. Would you like half of this hare?

Castiel could not help but notice the thinness of her body and the way her rips and hips poked at her taught skin. It was not a healthy sort of tautness, not like the way his skin rippled with movement because of the musculature that had built up on his body. He peered at her with his glacial blue orbs waiting for a response that allow him permission to stay and share his meal with her.
