Glaesfaet Sceawere is the name gifted to the mother river that flows through the center of Blossom Forest, bringing life and sustenance to all of the lands. It breaks off in many places, giving birth to smaller streams and estuaries, but the main body flows from the lake high in the north in Dierne Hrof all the way south down through Uyaraut to empty into the ocean. It is a fresh water river, but down through Uyaraut, the salt water does taint it. In places, parts of the river are underground and run through caverns unseen from aboveground.

Water buffalo grace these shores - with plenty of meat, though at a dangerous cost. Many river trout leap upstream daily.

Lost in the Echo

Test My Will, Test My Heart

Once the pair reached shore and were out of danger, relief flooded over Adara. The brightly colored femme that she had been so drawn to was safe. And it seemed that that had been the most important thing in the world. That this little stranger was safe. The silvery grey femme panted from the exertion of fighting the current. The pair introduced themselves, and when they did Adara knew that this was one of her personal Arcus Irae. Her form had changed to become a Tempest, awakening the magical blood that raced through her veins. This female pup was the reason that she had changed, or one of the reasons anyways. Protecting Fallon was more important than anything else to Adara now. She felt a real purpose in life. Not that she didn’t have a purpose before, but now everything was coming in place and it felt right.

Blue and purple paws paced the ground as the pup began to tell her tail. Adara smiled at her, sitting her natural colored rump on the ground, her plume wrapping around her paws as she intently listened to Fallon’s words. Emotions ran through the young fae’s features, excitement to anger, as she spoke. A lot had happened to the young pup, and it angered Adara to hear of what Duma had done. What right did he have to react in such a way? Noone can control how your heart beats, and if Losa’s beat for Hurricane of Mexico, then so be it. If Duma truly loved Losa, that was not the way to react. Locking up the Arcus Irae was no way to win Losa over or make things change. Adara was just thankful that Fallon was safe now. The bond between the Arcus Irae and their Tempest was strong and immediate when they met. To some it would seem silly that the female already had such strong feelings for the pup, but it was instinct. It was how the pair would survive, or more so how Fallon would survive, with a strong bond. And now Adara couldn’t imagine her life without Fallon in it.

The Tempest longed to reach out and touch Fallon, to comfort her for what she had gone through. But she had already touched the faeling once, something that was supposed to never happen. Thankfully no permanent damage had been dome, but it was still something that shouldn’t occur. Adara rose to her paws, padding close, but not touching, her new Arcus Irae. ”I am sorry for all that you and the others have gone through. I wish I could have been there to help protect you from Duma and his soldiers. But I can promise to protect you now.” Her heart when out to the young pup, and she realized she needed to do everything in her power to protect Fallon. Her mind went to her brother Aindreas and half-brother Vladimir. Both resided in Dierne Hrof, so that was the logical place to go. ”Fallon, would you like to meet my brothers? They are both Tempests, and own their own pack. I know that you would be safe there. And maybe your friends can come live there too.” She wouldn’t force the younger femme to go there, but she wanted her to be safe, needed her to be safe.
