Some are born great
Some achieve greatness

'Of course we must decorate it! And the glow worms are a must. You might be able to see in the dark, but I can’t.'
Vladimir grinned smugly at her despite the fact that she could not see it. Yes… The ability to see in the dark with something that neither of them knew he would have as a result of his new change. He wondered what other changes they would be, if any, and when he would figure them out. Still, he had to admit that the new treats gifted to his eyes were certainly useful. They had come at a cost - a high cost, with his death and then his revival, and the painful loss of his previous eyes. I did it all mean? The only logical explanation Vladimir had for it was that everything the voices had told him must be true. And his new vision? It had to be something to help him in the upcoming battles. After all, with his ability to see the aura of other people, he could now tell if they were lying to him or not, what their souls true intentions were-a useful ability indeed. And then his ability to see in the dark? If vampires could only venture out at night, then that too would be useful. It all made perfect sense, but that did not stop it from being any less terrifying. What lessened his load was the fact that he had found his soulmate so quickly, and it had been the lass he was already in love with at the time.
"Yes, having advantage over you was quick! Let me sneak up on you and give you kisses whenever I want!" Vladimir looked at her and reached out to nuzzle her, his snout inching its way through her thin russet hairs. His tongue slipped out to place a kiss on her neck where his snout had finally stayed still, then laughing, he leapt away. "Glow worms it is then. We'll have to find wherever it is that they lay though, considering that the only place that you and I know of as they are resting spot was back through one of the caverns that is now collapsed." Vladimir reached out and gently tug on a few of her hairs, pulling her toward him. As it had one stone when they were much younger, his tail curled around hers. Back then, it had been so that they could not get separated in the dark. Now it was to lead her through that same darkness. Together, the two would walk toward the back of the cave, as long as Seraphina allowed him to lead her. And what he saw amazed him. They had thought that the tunnel they took was the only one. They had stayed against the far right wall, hoping not to get lost. But that was far from the only tunnel. 5 to 10 of them dotted the back wall, And he had no doubt that some of them would also branch off themselves, whereas others would lead to dead ends. Their new den was far larger than they needed, but would provide them millions of hours of entertainment, exploring it all together. He looked back add her, and decide that it was up to him to choose. One nearly in the middle seem to be the largest, he decided that would be the one they would go through. He had no desire to get caught in a tight tiny cavern, or to have anything collapse again. After all, they were not as small as they once were, and would no doubt have difficulty fitting through the tiny or spaces. Although Sera would always remain small, he would not…
Confidently, he walked forward toward the larger hall. So much of the fear that he remembered having of this place was merely due to the darkness - was not being able to see what may look in the darkness. But now he could see it all, and there was nothing in the darkness to be afraid of. The Bouldered walls were rough, ragged. But once he walked through into this hallway, he found that they were smooth. He could hear the gentle drip drip drip of water falling from the ceiling above, and his blue eyes glowed brighter as he looked about for the source of it. But there was more than one source-he soon realized that there was a crack through the center of the ceiling running down the length of the cavern. And there was water running through it. Be gentle small streams of water ran down the ceiling, laying down minerals for smoothing out The edges that once were rough also. That dripping water must've been eating away the stone, leading to the formation of the hall. "Seraphina do you hear that? There's water all around us. It's like walking through a cascade of that has been parked it in the center. Albeit not a strong or powerful. We will have our own source of freshwater here-it's collecting into little streams on either side of this walkway. There must be… There has to be a cavernous river above us where this water is coming from." Vladimir pulled on her gently and move to the side, so that he could have a better look at the river. It was only a few inches wide on either side, and it had a lazy current. Slowly, hesitantly, he dipped his head to the water and begin lapping it up. He paused to see if she would follow suit-he had been thirsty, and had had nothing to drink since before he had changed. The water was surprisingly cold and refreshing, and slightly salty from the limestone with it. The prince mild and raised his head, stepping back from the trickling stream.
"Let's go find some glowworms, shall we?" Vladimir laughed, before continuing down the walkway again. I like the ones they had been before, where it narrowed, this one stayed tall and proud. He wondered at the arching ceilings, and all of them, could only wish that they could find a glowworms... and that the glowworms would then take up residence on the walls of this so that his love could see it also. It was so quiet and peaceful, as they walked in silence, that he felt all of the anger within him subside. It was so relaxing-to have a home, to be in love…
