Beach Boys Britain
Bruce and Roger McGuinn

It was while reading Mark Dillon's cool little book '50 Sides of The Beach Boys', that I came across a little burb referencing Bruce's involvement with Roger McGuinn's first solo album. It also mentioned that Bruce toured with Roger in support of said LP.

The personnel on that album reads like a who's who of American folk/rock. The great Spooner Oldham. Crosby and Nash. A guy named Dylan.

I find it interesting for a number of reasons. One assumes that Bruce would have been connected to the Byrds via Terry, and would Bruce's participation here be slightly before he and Terry teamed up to start Equinox? Was Bruce playing keyboards on the supporting tour?

Always interesting to learn a bit about the time Bruce was on 'hiatus' from the band.
