I do my limited casting/flipping for short periods in the channel close to home on foot/docks.
I'm pullin' for S-eyes by boat when fishin' the windy or warm rocks(crawdad's) out on the lake... the night I posted about was calm with a ton of bugs along the rocks was why I gave the close-by breaks(R-traps) a shot and scored... Usually the Eyes have a full shad stuffed belly & my best score is with sweet-tooth crawdad's untill the shad go into spin-cycle...
