He knew he wasn't a momma's boy or a daddy's boy and though he was ambitious and wasn't going to give up on his dreams of being the best in everything some day, he knew his mother was close to Xerxes out of all of them. But he hoped to change that some day. Some day, his parents would see him as the hardworking special son that he was and he would be humble about it, at least outwardly. He would give Xerxes that look with just a twinkle of smugness that said "ha! you've been beat!" and he would relish it, but until then he would keep going between Asteraia and Diveen, learning from his two different trainers while getting to know his new imprint and trying to protect his sister. Tikal was such a sweet and gentle soul. He would do anything for her but she had worried him when she ran off from the two year old party and he had a feeling it had something to do with a guy. He wondered if she had found her imprint. He was going to find her eventually and he would get it out of her some way. But today was about catching up with his mom and letting her know that he was okay. He hadn't really had a chance to let Ankh or Viserys know what he was up to. They didn't know that he'd asked to be a spy or a thief and was told of course that his mother was the top spy and his uncle was the top thief so unless he wanted to grow some and challenge for it, he would have to go to another pack to learn. And so he did. He traveled to Diveen and there Orion told him he would get him training with the best. Well, he had been told that he would be trained by none other than the alpha female herself, Nevaeh. Of course she pulled a fast one and him and sent her son Orifel instead to train him. But none the less, Orifel was an accomplished assassin so he would do just as well. Fen was busy but he wouldn't have it any other way. And now he'd found his other half and it felt weird but relieving too. Like he finally knew where he stood in life. So now he was torn toward her too but he didn't mind. Warpaint was confident and beautiful and he wouldn't have anyone else in her place. She was already big for her age and would probably double in size compared to him but he didn't care. He wouldn't have a weakling for an imprint so why not a warrior? He would find out everything about her and make sure she was always well taken care of. He made his way to the den, making sure to even pick a few wildflowers on the way to make a sort of bouquet for his mother. He figured Tikal must have gotten her love for flowers from someone so why not? As he made it to the den, he laid the flowers gently at his paws and called out. "Hey, mom, you home? It's Fen."
